New Jersey Wedding

Jul 15th, 2019

Absolutely beautiful property with spacious guestrooms. Bed was super comfortable. Appreciated the cheap cost of parking. Self and valet parking options were available. Hotel bar carried local craft beers which was really appreciated. Would stay again if ever back in the area. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Good Stay

Jul 9th, 2019

Stylish, nicely maintained hotel directly across from well known, high end shopping mall (Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Chanel, Dior, Gucci, etc., all right there). Plenty of easy underground parking ($10 non-valet). Clean, large room. Good a/c and hot water pressure. Management and staff were friendly and efficient. I'd stay again if I were in the area. Business center computers weren't working but, you know, when are business center computers ever working? Maybe hotels should just stop pretending they have business centers... TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Crazy Rules- Management inconsistent

Jul 6th, 2019

So my family and I are at the hotel for the holiday weekend to take advantage of the pools as well as getting together with friends and family from the area. The two rooms were clean and somewhat renovated and the front desk staff was great. Now to the reasons we wont be returning and I will hope my friends don't either. The indoor pool is nice but you have kids in Jacuzzi's and throwing balls and hitting people and no parents around to supervise. Why are kids in the indoor pool in July? The outdoor pool water is down right freezing. Does anybody ever touch the water? Now crazy rules and inconsistent management the outdoor pool use to have a full bar and grill now it only has limited beverages and cold sandwiches. $16 for a tuna sandwich that is pre-made no thanks. When we asked about hot food we were instructed very sternly that no outside food or beverage was allowed on property and we could use outside sitting area outside the lobby at the nearby office building. Therefore you take away amenity and make it difficult to enjoy pool time with kids. But to add to the stupid rule 20 minutes after eating in our room with food from town, we returned to pool to sit down next to a family that had a cooler filled with beer (glass bottles), sodas and sandwiches. Nobody questioned them for the hours they were outside. Cold pool, lack enforcement of rules, and parents who don't want to monitor their children made our holiday weekend feel like money down the drain. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Let down..

Jul 5th, 2019

We booked this trip very last minute, needed a nice place to relax with the kids (3 and 4.5 y/o). We chose this hotel for the indoor and outdoor pools. The outdoor pool was full of bugs and leaves, and the water was so cold! The indoor pool was well kept in the evening, but when we returned in the morning it was super wet all around the walking areas. My kids slipped and fell numerous times on the tiled floor. My husband and I also almost fell. There was a family with older kids at the pool, the kids were playing with a heavy football, throwing it around the pool, almost hitting my kids in the head. We addressed our concerns to the manager and she said she was unable to address the family. We were hoping for a calm and pleasant experience, but our stay was not as expected. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

WOW how things have changed

Jul 4th, 2019

My girlfriend and I have been using this hotel for quick summer stay-cations for years and I can not believe the changes over time. The staff members are still as great as always but the services wow what a drop off. First the outdoor pool is FREEZING COLD even though they claim it is heated. It was 90 degrees out and the water is too cold to stay in. When I asked maintenance/ engineer gentleman about it they tell us the heat is on just like the past years. NO ITS NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!! No pool attendant in the afternoon so nobody to help with opening an umbrella or getting frogs out of the pool. And the number of broken and ripped chairs is embarrassing for a high end property. Lastly would be nice if an attendant was there to stop people from smoking while sitting in the pool. Just Disgusting. I hope someone is reading this review and addressing the issues as we are hoping to come back in few weeks for one more chance. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
