Booked at this hotel for our anniversary and it was the biggest mistake that I have ever made. The hotel needs to be closed and not open back up until they update this hotel. The first night I had to ghet up and turn off the ceiling fan because I thought it was going to fall down on us. Complained the next morning and they sent maintenace up and it took them over half the day to replace a fan. The room was not cleaned properly because there was huge dust balls on the vent in the bathroom. I should have read the reviews of this hotel, but didn't because it was a Hilton property and I thought it would be nice. I could have got the same service at the Econolodge. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

I will not recommend this hotel to anyone. I booked this hotel to celebrate my birthday for two nights. First of all, it takes at least 5 min to go up and down the elevators. When we got up to the 19th floor, the room is old and dirty. When we entered the room, there are only two big towels and one tiny face towel. I called the front desk to bring another set, waited two hours and no one brought it. Later that day, we went to the sky pool to enjoy the amenities. However, we were not able to do so because the worker told us that there are no more pool towels available. In fact, she told us that the whole hotel is out of towel. Disappointed. At least we got to enjoy the sky bar and the scenery. The second morning, we got told that they don’t clean the rooms because of COVID19. We understood this process despite the front desk not informing us during check in. We asked for towels and yet no one brought up towels AGAIN so we just had to re use our own. Not a big deal. Another issue that we have is that some of the workers that we encounter in the elevator are not wearing their masks properly. They are wearing it under their nose. The workers are nice however and greets us accordingly. Overall, don’t waste your time and your money staying in this hotel. There are better ones out there. Definitely ruined my birthday celebration. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

This was one of the worst stays ever. Hilton messed up our anniversary. We reserved an expensive corner room. To name just a few problems...once we got there after 4pm our room was not ready, we were told we would have to make our own beds and dump our own trash. Only one set of towels were in the room for a 3 night stay. We were given pool towels about 6 hrs. later when we requested more. Took almost 24 hrs. to get proper towels. The drawers did not work, our anniversary amenity was not in the room, the toilet constantly ran and the tub was dirty. It was like staying in a poorly run dormitory rather than a hotel. Customer service was very rude and nonexistent! I called the GM and the hotel mgr. 3 times and have gotten no response to this day! We checked out early to try to salvage our anniversary! It was a Complete disaster!!! I am offended and appalled by our experience and lack of concern from mgt. I have been a Hilton honors member for many years. I will take my business elsewhere and advise others to do the same. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

We paid about $80 extra compared to nearby hotels expecting the high Hilton standards. The service and pool area fell short of that. The pictures of the roof pool are deceiving to say the least. It’s tiny and the chairs are pretty dated if you are lucky enough to find one. Our room was fine but getting it cleaned was a struggle. My husband stopped at the front desk on our second day to request it to be cleaned. We came in at 4:00pm to find it was never touched. He called to front desk and they replied that housekeeping does not clean overnight guests due to Covid. They failed to tell us that the first time and had no dry towels because we stacked them on the floor for housekeeping that morning. The elevators are another problem. 3 elevators to service 22 floors and limiting to 4 people (Covid). There were super long lines waiting for an elevator. We let several pass us by as we tried to catch one from our 7th floor to go down. After waiting a long time, we jumped on one that already had 4 people. We got an earful from a woman who complained that we were breaking the rules. It was super frustrating but we were tired of waiting so long. The restaurant was excellent but pricey. We had Lobster Mac, and broiled shrimp and scallops. Good size portions. Good boardwalk location. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Perfect getaway to relax

I needed a quick getaway to unwind, destress and recharge in light of work and covid. Once my travel plans were canceled because of covid I started searching for a place to go where it would be a short drive. When I saw the picture of this hotel it was etched in my mind and I had to see it in person. And can I say it did not disappoint!! I stayed in an oceanfront room on the 20th floor and the view was everything!! It was after Labor day so it wasn't crowded, directly on the beach and the food and service at the restaurant was perfect! And to top it off they even had a chocolate lava cake with chocolate ice cream with chocolate syrup!!! I was in chocolate heaven!! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
