Nice stay

We stayed for 1 night in joined rooms. While the furnishing do feel dated, overall they keep the place tidy. My daughter loved the delivery robot! We all enjoyed the breakfast, as the attendant was super friendly and helpful. All in all a nice stay. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Nicest host ever ( Vanessa )
Oct 3rd, 2020
This hotel is very nice, clean and close to most everything but the reason I keep coming back here is the front desk host Vanessa is one of the most friendly, helpful people I’ve ever encountered and I’ve been around the hotel industry my entire life. Also the housekeeping is also very friendly and helpful. Love this place Thank you guys. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Very average and dated hotel

Only an average hotel and not worth the price IMHO. I've stayed at other hotels in Bloomington which are better. Rooms are really small. Bathrooms have been remodeled, which is a plus, but it's still a dated property. I will not stay here again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Decent Stay During The "Pandemic"
Jul 10th, 2020
Stayed here four nights while in Indiana for USAC Midget Week. John at the front desk could not have been more helpful. Hooked me up with great suggestions on where to grab good food and good brews. Hotel was very quiet and bed was comfy. Would have loved to eat at the on-site restaurant, but COVID-19 had other plans. Only small complaint was rooms could be just a tad cleaner, lots of dust/dirt in the areas you aren't supposed to notice. All in all a great stay and would absolutely stay here again. Promises made, promises broken. Book with caution!

I booked 4 rooms totaling $3575 got my son’s graduation from IU. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Indiana University cancelled graduation ceremonies. I reached out to the hotel management regarding a refund for the rooms that were NEVER used and were cancelled in early April. I was assured, in a letter, that I would receive a refund for the unused amount in early May after the management firm, TriStar Hotels, received their government paid PPP loan. By mid May, they went radio silent. I reached out numerous times to IHG Corporate Guest Services regarding the refund, and I was told that they were standing behind the NEW decision on TriStar, giving the guests a 2 year credit to the Bloomington hotel only. My son graduated from IU. What do I need a 2 year credit at this hotel for? After doing research and reaching out to numerous hotels in the Bloomington area, I learned that the only hotels that did not give FULL refunds in a timely manner were those owned by TriStar—Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, and Comfort Inn. So...not only did I NOT see my son graduate from college, but TriStar STOLE my money while also getting additional money from the government via a PPP loan. Talk about insult to injury! I wonder how these people can stay in the hospitality business where reputation is so important. I will never stay at an IHG property ever again (and I travel often!). And my newly graduated son, who has a job starting soon as a financial consultant who will travel weekly, will not either. Bad business decision. GIVE ME MY REFUND! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
