Terrible

Check in & everything was good... then it took a turn for the worst. The elevator, hallway & room was gross. I’ve previously stayed here and it was really nice! So I don’t know if they put me on a crappy floor & room waaay at the end of an empty hotel... because upon check in I asked for a room on a higher level for the views. After I had inspected the room after feeling like Something was wrong, I found MANY things that were just disgusting! When I asked for a refund they offered to put me on a higher floor, which I originally asked for, but I chose to just leave and go to another hotel. Do not recommend! Especially during this pandemic, I would expect it to be spotless clean! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Unbelievable

Had a room booked for middle of March, then Covid 19 hit. Because of this no travel and isolation was recommended. I called immediately to cancel my room, and was told they would get back to me. One month later and they have still not responded to multiply emails or phone calls. Everyone is struggling right now and they want even try to make this right!! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great customer service and wonderful staff

I stay at this hotel at least once a month and sometimes 6 or 7 times and month - depending on my work load in Edmonton. Everything is always clean and well cared for and customer service is exceptional. I know the hotel is undergoing renovations and some people get upset having to wait 3 minutes for an elevator but, short of a hotel closing down, I see no other way to do renos. On my last visit - February 12 and 13. There were people really upset because the wi-fi went down. It was a hardware problem and took the better part of a day to fix. The hotel bent over backwards for everyone, but one couple decided to be idiots and started a protest in the lobby. I watched it unfolding while checking in, and then from the restaurant while having coffee Kiran ( the GM) and Abhi ( the front desk manager) were amazingly calm and apologetic while being insulted continuously by the woman, and later herself and her husband. The husband actually came up to me and asked me to join them in protesting the loss of wi-fi. I suggested he use his hots pot. The the woman decided to start insulting the GM because she speaks accented English. Whoa, I don't have the patients of either of those two IHG employees! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Terrible Customer Service by GM, and Staff! No attention to detail at all!

GM won’t return calls , gives attitude to customers , and has let the hotel go downhill fast ! Hotub was dirty , several things including elevator (one car ) wasn’t working ! Internet wasn’t working ! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Good for a night or two!

Beds were comfy! Pillows not so much. Rooms clean. Pool and hot tub have great hours and we’re nice. Workout space a little ummmm.... different. Breakfast was excellent. Good variety for sure - could add boiled eggs though. Parking was easy. Beggars in lobby a bit of nuisance. Friendly staff very accommodating. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
