After hearing great reviews about Holiday Inn Express Wandsworth, we booked our rooms and were looking forward to staying in the hotel. Unfortunately, we had to cancel our trip due to health reasons. The costumer service was very kind and understanding and gave us a full refund for our already paid for booking. We can't wait to stay in the hotel in the future! Great size room, sofa as well as bed, quiet, clean and good bathroom. Close to the train station, although used Santander bikes (Boris bikes) to get to City Center as enjoyed the cycle along the riverside. Fabulous breakfast, good selection of food, both hot and cold. Best bit though was the service at breakfast provided by a young man. He greeted everyone with a smile, helped a mother on her own with two young children, nothing was too much trouble. Not much around there at night, unfortunately. Went to the Ship Inn which is the closest pub for food on the Friday night, watched the rugby there on the Saturday night, but didn't fancy staying there for food again, but couldn't find anywhere else within walking distance for pub meal that wasn't rammed. Unwelcoming and rude

I arrived with my dad after a 6 hour drive. My sister lives closeby so it is our 5th or 6th visit in the last two years. We have always had a good experience with this hotel until our last one: upon arrival my dad showed his Holiday Inn Member Card and asked for free parking (this had been granted to us during our last visits). The employee tells us that it isn’t possible and that it’s not because we didn’t pay the last times that we won’t pay this time. We asked to see the manager who arrived after 5 minutes asking what the problem was. We explained that we were regular customers, showed the membership card, and asked again if it was possible to have free parking like the last times. The manager then answered “I am sorry Sir but today is not your lucky day and you are going to have to pay” Although I would have accepted to pay the 16 pounds/ day even though it is extremely expensive compared to the room rate, I do not accept the way that i have been treated. As a regular customer, I would have expected a different treatment and find it unacceptable to speak to customers in such a way. This will be my last visit. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Nice, clean, comfortable, close to station

Clean hotel with nice bathroom. Reception staff very polite. 5 minutes from train station. The breakfast was very nice - standard english breakfast with juice/coffee/tea. Quiet and comfortable beds with heatibg in the room. A TV in the room. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Used for a week while working in the area,very clean and tidy hotel very comfortable bed had no issues at all only mins from train station, so lets you explore London,bars n shop only mins away for trips into london TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
