3* Doesn't Do It Justice

Feb 11th, 2020

Fantastic hotel, incredible location, brilliant staff. Clean, extremely big and comfortable beds, great tv channels, fully equipped bathrooms. Everything you could hope for in your trip to this fantastic city. There are only 2 things I would make people aware of: 1. The breakfast is grab n go which works very well for a lot of guests I'm sure but if your heart is set on a sit down, warm breakfast it is not. It's a selection of pastries and fruit with coffee and juice. 2. I read in a few places that they were kitchenette rooms when they are in fact just regular hotel rooms, theres no fridge/stove/microwave etc. Overall we had an amazing stay, we truly think it should be more than a 3*, it's fantastic value for money and we would definitely return! Thank you so much to all the staff. 10/10. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

So comfortable and friendly

Feb 10th, 2020

We had never heard of this hotel but a friend booked it for a group trip. From the moment we arrived we felt very welcome. Though small, the lobby was a comfortable, low key place to hang out and also to have a quick breakfast the next morning. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. It was clean and the bed was so comfortable. The room was so quiet, possibly because there are only a few rooms on each floor. We will definitely plan to stay here again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Clean room, friendly staff, breakfast too sugary

Feb 9th, 2020

Rooms are clean, staff friendly. However Breakfast is too sugary. The muffins and cones are way too sweet to start the day. Suggest to add these items: Hard boil eggs, croissant, multi-grain and white bread for toast. Fruit should have more varieties to include kiwi, blueberries, strawberries, oranges, grapes, honey dew and water melon etc. Should also include beverages such as milk, orange juice, apple juice etc. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great stay!

Feb 2nd, 2020

When reading some of the reviews before booking we were slightly sceptical about this hotel. However, when we arrived at the hotel it was brilliant. It was in a fantastic location and the staff were extremely helpful. We paid very little for the standard of hotel. Breakfast is included on most tariffs (or what I remember), but it is only light, which is perfect because you will obviously not want a full breakfast at the hotel, you’ll want to go out and eat America’s cuisine. If you are looking for somewhere to eat and have entertainment for breakfast, Ellen’s diner is unreal. All in all, fantastic and thanks for our stay. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great hotel for sightseeing or else

Jan 30th, 2020

Very very good value for money. We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and never had any problems with noise or anything else. Our room was on the first floor. Since our room was facing the inner courtyard (construction site), we had no view at all, but we didn't care, we weren't in New York to look out the window. The hotel is in a really good location, in 10 minutes you can walk to the Time Squer and you can easily walk to the Empire Statue Building (about 20 minutes). You can also be at the Grand Central Station in 10 minutes, from there you can easily reach everything you want by subway. In 15 minutes you are in Centeal Park (walking). So the location of the hotel is just great. Very, very friendly and helpful staff who are available 24 hours a day. The breakfast is grab and go, so for those who value breakfast very much, you should plan your breakfast outside. There are small muffins, orange juice, coffee, tea, yoghurt .... For us this was sufficient, we are not big breakfasts it was absolutely sufficient and otherwise there is a Starbucks right across the street. There is a great pub 10 meters further on (higly recommended, I will also write something about it). The rooms are "small" (without wardrobe) but you have everything you need, a comfortable bed and a clean bathroom. I definitely recommend this hotel and the fact that you have to pay the hotel bill right at the beginning is very common so nothing to worry about. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
