Good place to stay if you are traveling on I-80

This was our second visit to this hotel. It is located very close to I-80 so it's a good location for travelers. There are also a number of acceptable restaurants a short drive away. The hotel is clean and quiet. Recommended! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER 

Disappointing stay

We arrived at the hotel about 330 to check in. The posted check in time was 3 pm. We were told the room wasn't ready yet, but would be ready in 15 minutes. We waited in the lobby for about an hour before we were able to get into our room. The front desk employee was polite and was dealing with multiple issues at the same time, also she did give us a reduced rate, but it was still inconvenient to wait for an hour. We were told the pool was out of order and would not be fixed before the end of the weekend. Got up Saturday and went down for breakfast. There was a sign on the pancake maker that it was out of order. Given the number of Holiday Inn Express commercials I've seen highlighting the breakfast, not having pancakes was disappointing. We were out of the room for most of the day Saturday, coming back around 330. Our room had not been cleaned. We wanted to rest in our room before dinner, so put the do not disturb sign out and ended up not getting our room clean. All in all it was a disappointing stay, we will find a different hotel in the future. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER 

Not too bad a bit dated

My wife and I stayed here last night using some IHG reward points. It's only a few miles from Baxter arena, and the breakfast was pretty good. There are some sketchy housing units nearby and the hotel is a little dated. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER 

Nice but pricey

Our room was roomy and comfortable. All staff were friendly and efficient. Check in and check out were both quick and easy. The hot breakfast was good but not great though the ladies serving it were helpful and friendly. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER 

Clean, very pleasant staff, self serve breakfast well organized

Visiting family and this provided a relatively inexpensive, convenient place to stay. Decor probably ready for a refurbishment but it was clean, the staff quite pleasant, and it was quiet. Need to get some lamps for their desks. Had some plumbing problems with slow drains but the maintenance staff came and fixed promptly. The self serve breakfast was convenient and ample choice available. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
