Great for families with children but not a couple wanting some quiet time

The Hotel lobby was nice as you walked in but the parking was substandard. People parked where ever they could to be close to unload baggage. There was no valet carts at the front of the hotel, which caused you to make several trips back and forth. Our bathroom was dirty and we were awaken to the running of toilets and shower above us. Rooms are old and sort of renovated. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

I don't know where to begin. It has been very difficult to find (it's at lower side o I-10), but, if is night and your gps is sleeping....we went round and round for 1 hour trying to "cross" I-10. Our gsp didn't recognise the address so we had to do ourselves. If you think could happen to you you can write, as hotel destination, Cracker Barrel restaurant close to hotel. The rooms are very big, clean and comfortable, air conditioning is a bit noisy and there's no way to reduce fan speed. There's a fridge/microwave/coffeemaker. The bathroom is quite big but pipes from room -next to our - noisy. Breakfast is excellent and you can find whatever you could desire. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Stayed with my husband for 2 nights. We reached few hours early and the front desk associate gave us a room on 3rd floor, otherwise we'd have got something on floor 4 - gold members, I thought that was real nice of her. Room was clean, bathrooms clean, TV worked etc etc. Breakfast was real nice, lots of options. Best part was the coffee - available 24X7 and tasted great. Great service TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Nice Hotel and Very Comfortable!

We were here during a the cold snap, so weren't able to use the pool, which was one of the reasons we had chosen this hotel. It is relatively close to the River Walk, Alamo, etc., but is also near freeway, which makes it a little more noisy if you aren't used to it. The rooms were clean and the bed was super comfortable. With the cold temps, we had a hard time regulating the thermostat in our room, so it may have been preset. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Nice Rooms but Loud

We spent one night at this hotel on a very busy weekend. In fact, as we were checking in there was a guy in front of me asking if there were any rooms available and the lady at the desk said they were completely booked. This hotel was hosting a family reunion, a girls softball team and there was a rodeo in town that particular weekend. We checked in rather late in the evening. We noticed as we approached the elevator there was a sign that said quiet hours. I didn't really think much of it but I quickly came to understand why. This hotel is very open floorplan and all that noise from the first-floor open atrium carries all the way up to the upper floors. And, even though it was a hour past quiet hours nothing was being enforced. We could not sleep thanks to a bunch of loud children in the atrium. I finally turned the fan to the air conditioning system to on instead of auto and pulled up a sleep noise machine app on my phone to drown out the noise. The room itself was nice, spacious and seemed to be newly renovated. Although, I will say it seems the bath was renovated before the room itself. When we went down to breakfast the next morning there was a place to sit and the food wasn't missing from the buffet. The hotel put out folding tables and chairs in the atrium to accommodate the full house crowds. The breakfast attendant seemed to have a little help running and preparing food for the huge crowd. I was super impressed with that. I would probably stay here again but I would hope the next time they actually enforce the quiet hours. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
