Busy area, good hotel

I stayed here at short notice. It was early days in the Covid19 scare and there were few tourists. The valet is friendly and available even when i checked out at 4.30AM the next morning; however -this parking is not cheap (its Fisherman's Wharf after all) at about $74 with Tax. There is some traffic noise on the street side but not too bad. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

A good place to stay while visiting San Francisco. Near everything around fishermans wharf. Stayed with family . " adults and 2 teenagers. Room adecuate size and clean for 7 days. Breakfast ok but a bit repetitive after a few days. Parking is expensive but if you rent a car at nearby car rentals they allow you to park at there garajes if you ask in advance and go pick up a free pass the next day to go out. All in all I would recomend thsis hotel- TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Would not refund money even though we were sick and could not travel

And we called them 4 1/2 days before we were supposed to travel. Manager would not call me back. Horrible. Ridiculously short-sighted. Then when I objected to the charge on my credit card the manager wrote that I did not cancel even THOUGH I did. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Good Hotel in a Great Location

Front Desk staff was extremely helpful (esp. Ady!) Normal Holiday Inn Express, clean, decent rooms, decent breakfast offering. Location can't be beat. Walking distance to Pier 39, Maritime Museum, etc. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Just returned from 6 nights spent in this great hotel. The bedoom was spacious and the bed was really comfortable. Had a few concerns regarding the breakfast after reading some previous comments, but we had no issues. Breakfasts were great, loads of choice and we never had any issues getting a table. Some people were taking theirs back to their rooms, but we never felt the need to do so. The hotel is situated in a good position, just a short walk to Pier 39 (although personally we found this to be a bit too commercialised) and the old trams terminate just a couple of blocks away. Seeing many homeless people around was upsetting, although we were never bothered by any. Having someone to help you with booking trips/excursions in the hotel foyer was a great idea and we took advantage of her expertise to book a day to the wine region. She (sorry cant remember her name) also gave us vouchers for several restaurants in the area which helped us to save a little money.....and every little helps as it is very expensive. The only thing I would change about the hotel is to have a bar....however we visited the bar across the road each evening for a drink before bed. Overall a great holiday, and missing it already!
