Covid-19 visit was great

Jul 1st, 2020

We were able to keep our distance from others and felt like the hotel was clean and well kept. The room was lovely, we requested a room facing the river. We also enjoyed the back patio. The staff was very nice. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

The good and the bad for this hotel.

May 16th, 2020

There are alot of good and bad things at this hotel from my experience. the employees. there are some employees who were friendly at this hotel however, i also experienced some very disrespectful employees at this hotel also. the lady who checked me in was rude and i heard her call me names. I believe this is because i found a cheap deal online at a third party website and alote of hotels may not like this. I also heard another employee call me insulting names the next day when i was around the front desk. When i was in the main area waiting to leave the hotel one of the employees started spraying cleaning spray near me which i should probably report to the police because it is a hazard. This is a passive agressive way to be abusive because he could try and play it off like he was just cleaning the area even though he did not need to be doing that near me. It was a shorter brown haired white guy. It is ironic because this guy did give me a shuttle ride to the airport later however, what he did with the cleaning spray is unacceptable. The housekeeping employees are really aggressive because they start trying to go into peoples rooms a couple hours before 11 and i had to tell them no thank you alote. the rooms the rooms are clean however, there is a door inbetween rooms and it was frustrating when i could hear the person in the room next to me because of this. people at the hotel. there are some shady people at this hotel and it made me feel uncomfortable at this hotel. People play their music loud and use derrogatory language in the hallways. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Very Noisy

Apr 12th, 2020

Located on the river next to the casino. We had a really small second floor room above the lobby -It was awful not only tiny but noise level left for no sleep coupled with being on the front side facing the parking lot which also includes an overnight area for 18 wheelers whose engines run all night. Bad chose next time we will stay in Omaha. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Group Stay - Just ok

Feb 18th, 2020

We stayed at this property as part of a group for very large volleyball tournament. The hotel was nice enough, bed were comfortable, room as clean, bathroom was clean. However, if the hotel is full you never know what type of neighbors you are going to get. Some of our group had some LOUD exhibitionists ACROSS the hallway they could hear over their TV. Luckily the front desk was able to help and let them know to 'be quiet' (kind of awkward with a bunch of 13/14 year olds around!) and we were lucky enough to have some rowdy drunks next to us, who went out luckily around 9:30 so it was quiet until the guy was PUKING his guts out at 1:45 AM - which leads me to tell you there is virtually NO sound barrier in these rooms. The bathroom is adjacent to the 'adjoining room' door and the guy vomiting sounded like he was IN our room. Another group member had someone smoking pot nearby...the front desk said it was 2 floors down & coming through the vents?! She had to put a damp towel down to keep the smell from coming in! Our room also smelled like we were next door to the pool - very strong chlorine smell. We were on the 4th floor, quite some ways from the pool and no one in our room ever went swimming. Lastly, at least 3 of the group members thermostats didn't work, they could either get it to be 85 or the air would come on be 58. We were lucky enough ours worked fine. SO long story short - the hotel is nice enough but if you need a QUIET night stay you might not want to stay A) on a weekend B) if the hotel is full. You also might reconsider if C) you are sensitive to smells or D) you are sensitive to hot or cold rooms . BUT the beds are comfy and and the staff was friendly. It is also nice to stay some where you can walk to a bar or restaurant or even the casino if you like to gamble. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

If your traveling with a trailer do not stay here

Feb 8th, 2020

We had our truck and trailer with us the night we stayed at this motel. Wanted to park it where it could be easily watched as we had done before. Night clerk said we had to park in another area, my husband and I both asked the same night clerk if it would be safe there which she said yes no problem. Well at 4 in the morning we get a call to inform us our trailer had been broken into. Had a bunch of tools stolen and trailer had a lot of things thrown around while the thieves were looking for other items to steal. Investigating officer told us that this motel gets hits (break ins) all the time, and this was part of his routine every night . When I relayed this message to the night clerk she said ( that’s not true it doesn’t get hit very often) and pretty much oh well .Well all the other workers verified that it does have break ins all the time. So be aware very upset customer. And manager/owner won’t put up security cameras. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
