Very tired - poor experience

The state that currently this hotel is doesn't live up to what Holiday Inn brand promises. Just too many details that added up to make this statement. Some construction work going on in the main hall (probably they are renovating lifts, which are not working) , which doesn't look really nice. The conference room (Winter Garden) is just not suitable to work during this time of the year (it was too cold, despite some heaters turned on) other conference room that we used was too hot all the time. WC door on - 1 floor had to be left open to the corridor all the time due to some reason (when we tried go close the door the staff was opening it again) . The cleanness is far away from perfect, noticed not cleaned some spilled liquid in the lobby several times. Found womens hair in the room on my bed and it was no sound-proof in the room (as it was joint room with locked door in between) and somebody was very loud next door. Had to wait for taxi ordered by hotel 50 minutes to come, which almost caused misssed flight. Understand it might be not fully in the hands of the hotel, but when it adds up to all things mentioned above - you get one poor experience which you remember. Can't say that the staff is not trying to help, but it just too many things in one place that seem not working. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Never stay here

The hotel is very far from any thing, Breakfast is bad with limited options, Nothing to do at nights It is only for business meetings, The gym is very small, Pool is closed The worst is conflict in information, during check in I was told I am able to cancel my second night for free, but when checking out after the first night, staff refused. The road to hotel is closed for heavy construction roads. Very noisy in the morning by Chinese crews, Also room kept open and discussion with crews within rooms, very loud. Noticed miscommunication between reception crew and management. By the way, the area is very far and nothing today at nights. Taxi fees are high also caused by far distance from and attraction point TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Do not visit

Worst hotel ever visited. Dirty all over, rugs, table top, floors, etc. Rude personnel in the restaurant. The restaurant is completely empty and for a good reason. On top of being yelled at it is extremely expensive. Do not visit this place. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Not impressed at all

I’m finally getting to it, here is my honest review of Holiday Inn Vinogradovo where I had (the pleasure??) to stay for 3 nights in February.  Let’s start with checkin: OK. Nothing special and the single most difficult thing was that the lady spoke very little English. Room number, Internet and Credit Card were the main words used - plus Thank you. But she was nice.  When I asked whether I could order room service, her English wasn’t enough to explain it to me which ended up in me not being able to sign the cheque for room service because nobody thought about blocking an amount on my credit card at checkin. So, after the shower from a long trip and being compfy: back into my clothes, down to reception while my dinner was slowly getting cold on a cart in front of my room. I waited for 10 minutes to pay for room service. When I gave her my card, she asked me how much she should block. Really?? Did I really need to learn your menue by heart so I can quickly pre-calculate how much I will need in the next days?? The room was OK, clean and compfy.  The two worst things about this hotel: quality of food was disastrous to the point that I ate potatoes and veggies only. The fish from the lunch buffet had such a terrible fish smell that I was done after 10sec and the other days were similar. I didn’t even bother to try dinner. We had a 3day conference and the room was similarly disastrous. No a/c (I know this sounds weird in winter time but with no windows, 24 people and the heating on the air was stuffy and smelly) - no air circulation at all. So we got a bigger room for day 2+3 which was indeed bigger, but for some reason they put less tables and chairs so we had to re-do the whole thing. Since nobody was to be found, we gathered additional tables from the lobby areas and built our own conference setup. Annoying was also that every morning we had to ask the conference team (down to reception again) for water bottles. Everyone was super friendly but no anticipation of any guest needs. If I can avoid it there is no way I come back to this hotel. There are much better ones closer to the airport at not much of a premium. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
