FUN for everyone!

Aug 6th, 2019

Absolutely loved this property! There were 2 days of our vacation that we never left the resort! With 4 restaurants, a convenience store, 2 pools, a huge hot tub, and water park and daily/nightly activities you really don’t have to😊 views were amazing, extremely convenient to the beach and clean! Staff were friendly, entertainment was great! As close as you can get to all-inclusive! Can’t beat the amenities 🐬☀️🌊🏄🏼‍♀️🦀🌴 2 side notes, that did not put a damper on our stay at all, but other may fuss 1. Parking is across the street, but they have a safe tunnel to walk through and golf cart/trams go to and from frequently 2. There wasn’t a map or brochure at check in to show locations of things or lust activities/entertainment for the duration of your stay, but all of the staff is friendly and helpful and you just have to ask😊 TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Perfect to come with kids & enjoy as a couple

Jul 28th, 2019

This place was a bit on our higher end of the price, but so worth it. There is a lot of other families, so kids can easily find other kids to play with. Entertainment every night. Pool and entertainment room and resort activities (including a few hours of babysitting during afternoon or at night) it's a plus! They give you us a free voucher for a kid meal. We didnt do buffet, but we ate a la carte and it was really good. Kids breakfast was simple, but beside from what they choose on the menu, they can get fruits and bread from the breakfast bar. The room was clean and very nice decorated. The only reason why I have it a 4 star its because the bed sinks a bit in the middle and the pillows are not that comfortable. Music can be loud, but that didnt bother me. I will totally come back again! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Fun, family friendly resort!

Jul 15th, 2019

I booked this with my IHG Anniversary night while vacationing nearby and wanted to check out PCB. We have never stayed at one of these large hotels before so I was way outside of my comfort zone. The parking lot across the street wasn’t an issue for us. The ground floor was very new and clean and the staff were all so nice. The elevators were pretty fast. Our room on the 7th floor was very outdated. My heart sank walking in because I couldn’t believe this was our room at such a beautiful place. That feeling quickly went away when we stepped on the balcony and saw the amazing view. The room may be outdated but it was one of the best sleeps I’ve ever had and very clean! The full sized fridge is so handy! I was surprised at how quiet our room was considering the size of the resort. Be ready for a lot of people and a lot of kids. This is definitely a kid friendly place and there is so much free stuff they do with kids. The beach is gorgeous and the sunset was amazing. I’d love to stay here again but this time for a few nights to take it all in! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Caution

Jul 14th, 2019

I would caution anyone who is interested in staying at this resort. They mention renovations and you can see some upgrades to the lobby area. However, the kid suite our family stayed in was not your typical suite, nor was it upgraded and it was dirty! We even found a towel under the bed left there by the previous occupants. You might enjoy the pool area if your children want to participate in the kid activities. Also, you can enjoy being waited on at the pool with drinks and food. However, our overall experience with the resort was poor and definitely not worth the nightly price. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Even better this year

Jul 13th, 2019

First off, let me just say that we love this resort. As a true resort there is so much to do here. A large pool, a smaller side-pool and a waterpark for the younger kids. A huge pool deck, with a tiki bar, food outlets, pool table, daily entertainment and a small store in case you forgot something. Clean, uncrowded beach! DJ Jim is there to take your requests 5 days a week, and the activities team has lots of stuff planned for the kids and families each day. The guest exclusive concerts are great, but I wonder if offering some up-and-coming talent would be a good way to add some variety to the line-up. As a frequent visitor to this property, I think there is still opportunity to make this place even better. The shows in the sunset lounge could use some updating. The shows are good, but it’s the same every year. And, if there were more family activities in the 7pm-9pm time slot (bingo, karaoke, family trivia), we would have no reason to leave the resort most nights. Also, it seems to be about time to update the menu(s). It would be nice to see some simpler, smaller meal options. The portions are way too large compared to what we normally eat. We ended up splitting many of our meals, or throwing half of it away. Or, maybe just allow adults to buy off the kid menu for a posted price? We also noticed that our kids were the only ones at many of the daily activities. I think if they could offer better prizes and figure out a better way to inform the guests each day, these activities would be much more popular. Either way, we still love it and will be back again next year! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
