EXCELLENT CHEF IN THE RESTAURANT
Dec 16th, 2019
This hotel was great, a good night's sleep, clean, very comfortable room. The receptionist's name was Barbara, and she was LOVELY, friendly, informative and kind. We were tired and hungry, and Barbara suggested the hotel's dining room. I ordered the salmon which came with brussel sprouts. It was the BEST SALMON I have ever had. My husband is a sport fisherman, so we have a freezer loaded with salmon. I've also had it in many restaurants, but never was it prepared like this! And the brussel sprouts - again - the best I've ever had, roasted and drizzled with herbs and olive oil, goodness and love. The chef is to be commended, this was an outstanding meal. Good Bad & Oh Well

My time at this hotel was good. The cleaning staff and the restaurant staff were amazing. My room was well appointed. I richly enjoyed every encounter with the cleaning and restaurant staff. I can't say the same about the shuttle driver and a couple of the front desk people. The shuttle driver had to be enjoying a vacation on the clock because that behind was missing in action. After waiting in the sweltering heat for 20 minutes, I called the hotel to inquire about the shuttle's potential arrival time and was given the preverbal middle finger. The person who answered the phone never answered my question about the expected time of arrival; instead I was given the time the driver starts and the time they end. (What the What!) As a result of the driver's lack of visibility, I had to rent a car to get to the hotel after my flight. This was emotionally and financially draining. The ONLY reason why I booked this hotel was because they listed an airport shuttle on their website. My having to spend over $200.00 to get to the hotel was very disappointing. Not as important, but notable all the same was that at least one, actually two of the front desk people didn't really see me as a valued customer (this is a rant for a different forum). The moral of the story; don't be a lazy shuttle driver or a bothered by the customers front desk person. Nonetheless, I enjoyed my stay with this establishment. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Amazing customer service!

We happened across this location when the one we booked down the street turned out to be a roach motel. The staff here are incredible! Room was clean and comfortable and the rate was reasonable for the quality received. Excellent service in the restaurant and the food was great too. Pool was so relaxing after a long weekend of chaos. Would definitely recommend this location. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Nice hotel, no so nice customer service!

We just checked in about 30 minutes ago, and I already can't wait to check out. We absolutely will not be using this location again and the Holiday Inn brand is not represented here. We are owners through Holiday Inn Club and I usually choose HI as my hotel brand. I've also hosted meetings and events with this brand. I've never experienced someone completely unwilling to assist their guests. We booked a standard room for 2 nights for a conference this weekend through my husband's employer. Upon arrival, we were given a handicapped unit with a king-sized bed. We called the front desk and asked if he had any other king rooms and said we would switch to have 2 queen beds if available. He said he did have those rooms available, but we still could not switch rooms. When you have availability, it's irresponsible to book an ADA room. You have no idea who may need it or when. That goes from parking spaces to restrooms to ramp usage. If you've ever assisted someone in need of these services, you know how vital their accomodations are. That's the only point I was trying to make, but the gentlemen that checked us and couldn't seem to get that. Instead of at least acknowledging my point, we were told "That type of reservation, you get what you get." He went on to repeatedly to tell us that we can't choose what type of room we want with that type of reservation, emphasis on that. I was trying to understand what "type" of room he meant. We booked through my husband's corporate site for employees. Apparently, using any other source than HI to book your room is offensive at this location. At this point, it was clear he had a personal issue with corporate bookings and preferred if we had booked elsewhere. He was extremely rude and dismissive. I asked him what type of reservation he meant. Of course, no answer. I do know companies have contracts with businesses all over the world for their employees. If you don't want to participate then don't, believe me, your competition will appreciate it. It's been a long day and to end it with such unnecessary negativity was a bit of a downer. Just avoid if you're looking for a nice place to stay with good customer service. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
