Love the hotel!!!

Sep 11th, 2020

My husband and I decided to go to the beach for a couple of days. Most places want you to stay 3 nights, but my husband could only take a couple of days off. We called and spoke to Cindy and she said we could reserve a room for two days. Let me tell you, the room was absolutely beautiful and very clean! The hotel was immaculate Cindy and Bob were amazing, very friendly and helpful! The beach is only 1.5 miles (2 blocks) from the hotel, and the hotel was located in walking distance to the boardwalk, and many restaurants. The perfect location. My husband and I plan to stay there again on our next trip to the beach! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Best Hotel in Wildwood! Won't stay anywhere else!

Sep 27th, 2019

First I would like to address some of the negative reviews I read and wanted to cry. Bob and Cindy are two of the nicest people I've ever met. Cindy would never say any of this, so I will say it. They stay out of your business until/unless you invite them into your business. I stayed for 4 days/4 nights, and arrived past check in on Thursday night, 8/1/19. That was not a problem at all. When we arrived, yes, Cindy told us about the house rules. I LIKE the rules. If you don't have rules, that's when chaos erupts. Read the reviews for Bonito motel. (no rules) Enough said. Someone said they didn't have any privacy on the porch because Bob and Cindy were always there smoking. OMG, seriously? There are 3 floors of rooms in the hotel!! EVERYONE has a right to sit on the porch! You have no right to expect PRIVACY on the front porch. Are you kidding me? What if other guests were sitting there?! They sit on ONE SIDE of the porch. The porch is huge. If you don't want to speak with them, go sit on the other side! This is their HOME! Let them sit on the porch. I came out, sat down where Cindy was sitting, said "Hi" and the poor woman seemed timid. Like she didn't know if she should engage in conversation with me. Now I understand why. I hardly ever saw Bob. Once in a while he was sitting on the porch, he would say hi or wave. By the end of my stay, they were like old friends. As we drove away, they both stood on the porch waving. I was sad to leave. People complaining about the size of the rooms. They are small, but perfect. Everything is well kept, the beds are sooooooooo comfortable, the room and bathroom is clean and has everything you need. The shower is small, but gets the job done. The hot water did take a couple of minutes, but it takes a little bit for water to heat up, then to reach the 3rd floor! Sheesh. If you are spending THAT much time at the hotel that you need a huge room, a private porch, 30sqft shower, Olympic pool, visitors, the latest release DVDs, etc. you need to book at the Hilton. Don't bother leaving your own town. Just book the BEST hotel in your city for 1 week and hibernate in your room. My husband and I slept there and showered there. We were up and out by 8am and back at Midnight. We stopped in and out throughout the day to change for dinner, chat with Bob or Cindy, and back out. It was perfect. Someone actually complained about the movies being old VHS tapes. Seriously? They don't have to have ANYTHING there for your entertainment. They have board games, books, movies, and the WiFi password is right on the back of your door. No calling or going down to the desk to get the PW. I paid a little over $400 for the 4 nights I stayed. It was close to the action end of the boardwalk, restaurants, etc. We rarely took the car out. We could have paid double that for a hotel with a pool, but I'm not going to a beach resort to swim in the pool. Bob, Cindy, and the HBH staff were the best, and I am looking forward to seeing them again next summer when I return. BTW Cindy, we didn't get to eat at Alfie's as you suggested. The wait time was close to 2 hrs!!! I guess it must be very good :) LOL Maybe when we can go when we come back next summer. You are welcome to join us! Love you Bob and Cindy. See you next summer!! Cute place and great location

Sep 9th, 2019

I stayed here for 2 nights this past weekend, for the Roar to the Shore- bike weekend. I had a small room on the 3rd floor, queen sized bed, with a Jacuzzi tub- which was definitely just what I needed. The owner was very nice, certainly appreciated that she let us leave our car there after check out. I'll definitely stay here again, next year. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

A Gem!

This such an adorable place to stay. It's so clean, three floors. The particular room I had was small, full size, private bathroom and a closet chest. There is no big amenities, no pools, arcades or big check-in area. I was there for the beach and boardwalk (I didn't need it). The Host was great, attentive and so much information to give. It was about three blocks from the boardwalk. So you don't need to take the car out. There is a bar/restaurant right in the corner. Good music. Over all for price I will visit again. Wonderful Place To Stay

Aug 23rd, 2019

My wife, 10 year old son and I recently stayed at the Holly Beach Hotel in Wildwood. We had a suite with a king size bed in one room and a sitting room with a pull out bed. It was very clean and comfortable and nicely furnished with a tv in each room and a bathroom with a shower. The room also had a refrigerator and a microwave. The hotel was within a few short blocks of the boardwalk and the beach as well as several restaurants. The owners were nice and made recommendations about restaurants. My son Gabriel says it is now one of his favorite hotels and he would appreciate it if we could go back soon. We certainly would like to. I highly recommend the Holly Beach Hotel.
