My vacation didn’t start off great, had a misunderstanding with the general manager the first night of our trip. The next day the man sought me out, we talked and everything was pleasant from that day on. On the 17th I received an emergency phone call regarding my dog being ill n I would have to cut my vacation short. Not only did this guy return 5 days of my scheduled stay, he also helped my wife with the cancellations with my car and helped change my flight. The guy was honestly concerned, in contrast dollar rent a car did not return a dime. In this day n age you seldom meet genuine good people but this guy was one of them. A GOOD MAN. Typical cookie cutter American hotel

This hotel offers everything as written in the offer. But it just does not click. The place is not dirty, but far away from clean. A/C in the room made a lot of noise. Towels were the cheapest you can buy in China. For a full fledge Marriott just not par for what expected. Not good for $ 350.00. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Nice restaurant off the beach. Mimosas were good. Breakfast was good. Server was not that attentive and it wasn’t busy. I waited 20 minutes after she removed my plates to get my bill. I would eat here again to try something different on the menu. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

I don’t normally complain about hotels nor have I ever felt like I needed to leave a review, but I was very disappointed in my stay. To start, I ran into a few rude employees, which in my opinion, doesn’t make sense if you’re working in the hospitality industry. The bar tender had an attitude along with one of the front desk people during the night shift. The facility was covered in animal feces and the jacuzzi was closed, I had asked if the pool was open and the lady on the phone responded that all amenities were open. We walked into our room for the first time and it was a sauna. The air conditioning was turned off and took a few hours to get cool. Not to mention the room did not feel clean at all. All though there were clean towel and bathroom supplies, the coffee cups had dust on them, the floor was filthy and near the fridge was sticky. The sheets did not feel nor smell clean. I did the app request for extra pillows and it took around an hour to get them. The beach access and boardwalk was the only nice thing about the stay. Kind of a joke about the $20 fee daily, the “smoothies served poolside daily” were virgin daiquiris. And there was no poolside service whatsoever. We ate at the restaurant the first night and the service was insanely slow but the food was good. The thing that got me the most mad was the second night, when I walked into the lobby around 11:30 to get my 2 waters that come with the daily fee, I was standing outside for a good 7-8 minutes and i know there are cameras in the office as i saw the screen once she opened the door. Her attitude was extremely rude towards me which was absolutely unacceptable since she is in the hospitality industry not to mention working for marriott. Later that night around 2:30 am, i am woken by obnoxiously loud people on their balcony’s laughing and talking very loud not being considerate. Very thin walls. Another complaint i’d like to add is how loud the ac is. My room was feet away from the beach and I couldn’t even hear the waves because the ac was so overpowering! All in all, I will most likely not stay here again and I am very disappointed in my stay as I have been to marriotts all over the country and this one was just very disappointing.Did not feel like a resort stay and definitely did not get my money’s worth. Comfortable room, outstanding service at a good location

Booked a single night here after flying into Orlando and renting an SUV on our way to the Keys. A family member was staying nearby and we decided to stop here for the night after traveling with two young boys and our teenager who stayed with Grandma off sight. Our boys, 6 and 10, always enjoy the pool and it was no exception here. The only glitch, there was a terrible, windy storm that kept us from the beach or from enjoying the complimentary bikes. The pool, we managed, wind be damned. The room was clean and comfortable as were the beds. Service was outstanding and we felt comfortable at all levels. I'm here to acknowledge the extra effort of the pool and bar staff, Sandy and Brian, if I recall correctly, who assisted us with an issue and ensured our stay was pleasant and valuable. A pair of complementary drinks were standard with our original booking and another round was presented to us to ensure we had a pleasant experience after a minor miscommunication. The pool manager ensured she found us to rectify matters and that demonstrates the commitment to excellence this hotel has with its employees. We had pushed our "Spring Break" trip back as far as we could back in March due to the pandemic and it was either use it or lose it. The hotel had all the proper measures in place to make my family and I feel as safe as possible considering the circumstances. The only regret we had was only booking one night. The next time we're in the area we'll book a longer stay. Excellent room and service by all the staff even though we stayed only a single night. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
