Needed a suite

Some of the positive things about the 2 BR suite: very good towels, good configuration of the rooms. Convenient location. Good mattresses and pillows - comfortable. Disappointing: Noise level. Rooms above us sounded like herds of animals. Acoustics really bad in living room. Terrible coffee. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
1st night not going well

We asked for a easy access room a disabled senior with a 5yr old . We were placed in the middle of this L shaped hotel half way between entrances. When I got ready to put the grandson in the sleep sofa, no linens. Called the front desk was told I needed to com get them . Also no towels at the pool and only 1 umbrella. No trash bags in cans. I'm afraid of tommorow. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

This hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood of hotels off I-75. I wish I picked a different one of Homewood’s neighbors. Throughout my stat, it felt like I was staying at a lower end motel. The property was run down and did little to police COVID restrictions. Everything seemed like it could use a fresh coat of paint...and Lysol. My bathroom had a large roach in it and the hotel didn’t even respond when I sent them a note about it. The shower floor was cracked and the towels were worn. The bed was sagging with a comforter that was too small. Overall it was not up to Hilton standards and I will look elsewhere next time I am in Gainesville. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Great place to stay

We had 2 rooms here for a few days. We had no problems in either room. Everything was clean and working well. The staff was pleasant and welcoming. They didnt have the breakfast bar due to Corona but had bagged bars and fruit available. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

I do a fair amount of travel for work. This is the worst hotel I have ever seen. Ever. Stains on the carpet, exit signs hanging crookedly from loose wires, dilapidated furniture and worst of all, our room absolutely reeked of some kind of catfish. The front desk was mildly apologetic and offered no help. I called Hilton’s 1-800 number and switched to the DoubleTree a mile away after about 5 minutes. Seriously a train wreck. Avoid this rat hole at all costs. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
