Always a Great Stay

Feb 24th, 2021

We’ve been traveling regularly to this property for years and even when I think they are amazing they are even better. During Covid most hotels have been offering very limited/basic breakfast bags or maybe even no breakfast option. Homewood Suites Jackson gives you a paper to fill out nightly with extensive breakfast options to be picked up in the morning. We really appreciate the extra effort. We were happy to see that our friend Kyle has been promoted (much deserved) and as always makes us feel at home. We enjoy exercising at a nearby gym and Kyle remembered and had passes for us. Jackson is a fun town and it’s really our happy place. That being said, if we can’t get a room at Homewood we’d rather not go. We spend 60+ nights a year in very nice hotels but I wouldn’t change my little Homewood Suites for even the Four Seasons. It may not be luxurious but the service and location can’t be beat especially if you do other activities besides skiing. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Perfect little spot

Dec 29th, 2020

My friend and I stayed in Jackson on our visit to the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone. We flew in to Jackson airport and went directly to hike the Jenny Lake trail in the Grand Tetons. We took the boat ride back (one way) to conserve energy. The drive to the hotel was short, so we checked in and purchased groceries nearby. We chose Homewood suites so we could have a full size refrigerator and stove top. It worked out perfectly! We got lunch meats, nuts, eggs and bacon, veggies and cheese so we could cook breakfast, then pack sandwiches (I eat lettuce wraps) to store in our soft side cooler for meals while out on the trail. At the time of our trip, we were social distancing due to COVID so the hotel only offered things like granola bars and fruit in a sack for breakfast. Since I eat low-carb, that didn’t work for me. I would have liked it if they had offered KETO snacks but what can I do? When I asked the front desk for butter and cream cheese, they were generous and accommodating. Score! We hiked the lower loop in Yellowstone on day 2, it is a long drive so be prepared. Day 3, we hiked the north loop and grabbed a hotel in Gardner, Montana so we could enjoy Lamar Valley wildlife in the evening as the sun set. Out there we got to see wolves, a bear, and tons of bison. Day 4, we caught all the sights we missed in our rush to see the wildlife. Mammoth springs and Grand prismatic springs at ground level, we had seen it from the nearby hill where there is a fantastic view. On the last day, we got up early to take the boat at 7am (for $5 in cash) across Jenny Lake so we could hike the hidden falls trail. The advantage is that, since you’re on the first boat ride over, there’s a lot of wildlife to see on the trail. This is where we saw a moose. We practically ran down the mountain so that we could get back to the hotel, check out, and catch the plane home. It was a fantastic trip! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

The nicest staff

Nov 12th, 2020

When covid hit me and my wife decided to start traveling through the Pacific Northwest. We have stayed in 20 different hotels to date with more than 100+ nights. All the hotels ranged from 3 to 5 stars. But none had such an amazing and competent staff as this one. The rooms are nice, but a bit small. They are however very clean and in kept well. But the staff more than makes up for any deficiencies. They were incredibly nice the whole time, accommodating and very competent. Any problem was solved promptly and with a smile on their face, which is quite rare from our experience. The GM of the hotel, Mr. Bauch trained his staff very well and personally made our stay one of the most pleasant experience of the whole trip. We can't recommend this place enough. If you decide to stay, you won't regret it. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great property!

Oct 29th, 2020

This was our 5th Hilton property we stopped at during our road trip, and they did not disappoint. Friendly staff, clean rooms, masks required. Since we are noting eating in restaurants right now, the woman at the front desk was able to give us great recommendations for carryout. The hotel is in a good location for walking around town. Would definitely stay here again!!! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Very nice, but needs a facelift.

Oct 27th, 2020

Property is getting tired and could use a remodel. However, it was spotless, both in rooms and lobby. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is provided by ordering ahead and picking up in lobby to be eaten in your room. Good choices considering the situation. Masks worn by all staff. Good location to walk into downtown Jackson.
