Friendly and helpful staff

This hotel was in a very good location, since the primary reason for our stay was to visit the Grand Tetons. We could easily leave Jackson without any issue. We were also easily able to walk to different restaurants each night of our stay, so the overall location was the reason we chose this restaurant. Everyone was helpful and friendly, willing to provide information about the town and restaurants. Very pleased with the stay. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Interesting, User-Friendly Hotel

Chose this hotel because I could book it with Hilton Honors Rewards points, plus it was a quality hotel with nice amenities right in the heart of the vibrant western-themed downtown area. That part worked out pretty well. Employees were wonderful to us, and the parking area was ample and accessible. Loved the restaurants and attractions that were within walking distance. Our room was a suite with kitchen/dining room, living room, bedroom, and bathroom. Quiet and comfortable, but seemed somewhat miniaturized. Think the hotel was allowed to build on a small footprint, and it was especially noticeable in the hallways, which were just wide enough for a luggage cart. Good luck if you encountered a housekeeping cart on the way to your room!. Hallways were also not well ventilated and smelled stuffy. Glad this did not affect our room, which was pretty nice. Decent breakfast, but we have stayed at other Homewoods and expected more quality choices. Same thing with the evening social, which lacked beer and wine offerings that we were used to from stays at this type of hotel. Had a housekeeping issue in our room, but desk employees resolved it and compensated with points. Much appreciated. Hot tub not in operation? Made the wife sad. Probably should have registered disappointment with the desk because that was truly disappointing. I would gladly stay here again (when the hot tube is working!), but do wish the hotel was more spacious. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Pleasant Hotel, Pet Friendly

This hotel building is squeezed into a tight city lot, so the entrance and parking is smaller than a usual Homewood, and the hallways are narrow. But our fireplace whirlpool tub suite was perfect for a family of 3 and dog. The space was updated and modern with cozy touches like throw blankets and real artwork, and the living room had tall ceilings and windows, gas fireplace, full size fridge, microwave, cooktop (no oven). The bedroom with king bed and TV was smaller, just big enough to get around the bed. The whirlpool tub was large and deep, like a mini hot tub for 2 people, with jets. This was also the shower however, everyone showering had to climb up over the high tub wall with a small step and grip rail. If you have mobility issues, this tub shower can be a challenge. Overall I would stay here again if we wanted to be in the busy high traffic downtown. If you want a more quiet setting, it's nice just 5 mins north of town or north into the park. Very spacious and quite rooms with all the amenties you need for a longer stay. Good and friendly service at the reception desk. Also the setting is very convenient at only two blocks from Town square and different good restaurants within two blocks. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Suitable place to stay

The rooms and services were fine. Everything worked properly and as I expected once I got in my room. The problem I had was an excessive delay in getting checked in although it was after the standard check in time. The staff gave me their excuse as to why there was a delay and I was refunded some points since I was staying on my HHonors points although I should have received more of a refund. What can you do, I was stuck there and needed to get in a room. The room they had for me was not ready so they assigned me another and I found that was also not ready. It took over an hour from my arrival to get in a room. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
