Hilton is Missing the Mark

we drove in from Dallad to visit family. Homewooda have been excellent in the past but this stay was very different. I stood outside the front door for about 10 mins at 4:12 pm cuz the main entrench door was not opening. Their were 2 FD agents working on a check in. When they noticed me, the door open, I walked in and no one acknowledged me as if I was not in the lobby. Once they checked us in we went to our room and it stuck really bad and the room looked old and beat up. The rug had runs, couch looked like it was bought at at a 2nd hand store and just felt nasty. I called the FD to inform them and the gal said she could move us just needed me to come down. I told it smelled like mold and was musty, NOTE - FD AGENT ASK IF IT WAS OK TO BE UNDER THE MUSTY room, I said I prefer not, she did anyway! Why ask if you don't care? Hilton reps really loosing the touch.. I got the key and waited for the elevator when I heard the FD trainer tell the new gal, " I know its e has no idea what he is talking about. REALLY lady!!! Went to the room to look and it looked good ENOUGH. I'm tired and want to relax. Homewood, this was a real big let down. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great place to stay by yourself or with a family. Quiet and clean rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend to anyone traveling for business or pleasure. Central location to a grocery store and many restaurants. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Everything was great. Breakfast and lunch were a a hit. Kids were able to move around and play in the suites without having to worry about little space. Staff onsite were helpful and friendly especially when we had to extend our stay TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Stayed here March 1-3, 2020. Made reservations on booking.com. Was told when I arrived I could not get hotel points because I used booking.com. Didn’t know that but ok... I was at work during checkout so husband checked out. We paid at hotel -not on booking.com. They failed to give him a receipt so I called to have one emailed. Talked to Laura. Sorry can’t do that either cause you guessed it, I booked on booking.com. Told me to call them. Didn’t understand this because I paid in person at hotel but ok....call booking.com, on hold 30 minutes. Finally tell someone what I need. She says hold on, let me call the hotel. When she comes back, she said ok they are going to send you a receipt via email. Are you kidding me ?? TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Very caring staff that made sure our 6 month old son had a goodtime and cozy crib to sleep in. I loved being able to wake up and just walk down the hall to a hot fresh breakfast or grab some yogurt and juice . TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
