Back after human being a year BUT Covid mania ruins it
Oct 24th, 2020
Stayed here a year ago and had a good experience so decided to stay again on our next trip through Santa Fe. Rooms were clean and comfortable but fear of C-19 has taken ALL customer service and perks out of the experience. With an electronic key on your smartphone, breakfast meals dished up in take out boxes or paper bags, and suspended cleaning service we literally did not react with another human being the whole 2 nights there. If that is what you want with respect to C-19 okay but I am not scared of it and want something for my money. There were maybe 35 cars in the parking lot so they had some business. The Hilton Casino resort net door was DEAD with no restaurants open, only the coffee shop...kinda....so NO place to get food or drink close by. Hopefully this WILL be over sooner than later. I recently stayed in Country Inn and Suites and a Residence Inn property in Texas. The Residence Inn discontinued its hot breakfast and only had a sorry grab and go breakfast. The County Inn and Suites discontinued its breakfast completely. This Homewood went out of their way to offer the evening reception and a hot breakfast. They had hot grab and go meals in the evening. Once it was meatloaf, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese and cake. Breakfast was scrambled eggs, hash browns, sausage, juice, fruit, scones, cold cereal, etc. Thanks Homewood for offering hot meals in a safe and responsible manner. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Very Nice Hotel
Aug 31st, 2020
The hotel is nice but the Covid restrictions in New Mexico made the stay a little surreal. The clerk said they were having a "social hour," which turned out to be a table with iced tea, packaged tilapia dinner and packaged slices of carrot cake. Very few guests were there and the tables were spaced apart per restrictions. The room was large and had a little kitchenette area. Under other circumstances it would be a great place to stay, I think. If you're going there now, eat before you get to the hotel. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Stayed here with my 5 kids in June 2020 and I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent service. Breakfast and Evening reception were still available in to-go boxes and the quality of the meals was great! One morning for breakfast we were provided green chile enchiladas. Coffee was always available at the lobby and the pool was open but with limited capacity. Maid service was provided daily. Overall an excellent stay! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Disappointed for what you expect
Aug 12th, 2020
I had high expectations for this hotel considering the main hotel was closed I thought this would be held to the same standards. This hotel was dated almost like an episode of hotel hell😂. I can say the only thing I can compliment this hotel on was cleanliness, a partnership with lysol gives a sense of protection. The rooms were odd dated switches and small bathrooms was not what I had hoped for. The golf course on the property was a little pricey but good challenging for a 7 handicap like my self. 🤥 Definitely will not come back well maybe for golf. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
