A beautiful boutique hotel

We loved staying at the Herencia Hotel. The atmosphere and decor is extremely attractive. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and provided excellent service. We ate breakfast there every morning and had several evening meals. The food was delicious, attractively presented with excellent service. The Herencia is centrally located. A little fridge in the room would have been nice and our room faced the street which was noisy. Other than that, a perfect score. . We will definitely go back to the Herencia. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Wonderful staff, great location and lovely rooms

I absolutely loved my stay in this hotel. The first thing you get is a warm welcome from the reception staff. We told them that it was our anniversary and they did their best to make it a wonderful time. The rooms are so nice, with big comfortable beds and a lovely decor. One of the bests things is the location, just one block from the Cathedral. Very clean with plenty of hot water. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Reasonable hotel in a good location

An older style, two storey courtyard building well located on the Main Street running through the centre of town, so easy walking to all the sights of Morelia (we were not too impressed with this City but that’s another story). Valet parking was provided at no cost. The ground floor was still under renovation during our stay, so we couldn’t appreciate the whole building and restaurant. But the rooms were attractive and well fitted out. No bottled water was provided, but we called for water which was brought in a jug with ice. Weird but ok. A good breakfast in the temporary dining room. Staff were helpful. Overall we were happy with this hotel, which could be four stars hen the relations are finally completed. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
A bit below average

This is beautiful property with a good location, although on our visit they were remodeling the restaurant, probably because of change of ownership/management from Mansion Real. But that was OK. But no bottled water was provided, which is expected from even the most budgety hotels in Mexico. No in room coffee, either, which is typical for a $60 US hotel. Especially if there's no on-site restaurant or coffee shop. There are better hotels in centro. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Great hotel but a few shortcomings

The hotel is beautiful ! A lovely interior courtyard with sweeping staircase up to a fantastic second floor. We stayed in the junior suites though and to be honest the upstairs/downstairs design was not really to my taste. Especially if you need a pee in the middle of the night ! Having said that I had a great sleep on a very comfortable bed so I can't complain too much The location is perfect. A stroll to everything and lots of cafes and bars nearby. They advertise free parking and I was under the impression it was onsite. Might have been my mistake but if you are arriving b car it's quite difficult to get a place to stop near the hotel. You have to get around the back of the hotel and then down a side street and park illegally until the conci comes and guides you to the car park a few blocks away. Overall though a very nice hotel at a very good price. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
