Beautiful

Unbelievable location and very stylish. Booked for husband’s birthday treat it was a great choice. Decor is beautiful and rooms well apppointed - room 321 has amazing views and an outdoor seating area so great for an evening drink. However for us the pool area was probably our favourite as after a couple of hours sightseeing it was a welcome retreat for a swim, G&T and chill in the sun. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Superb

Absolutely love this hotel- across the board....history, location, vibe, rooms and service. You feel the history there- gorgeous and well kept- loved the elevators! I stayed during the feria season when it was just packed but it never felt overwhelming. The service was amazing- solicitous yet not in your face. Nothing was too much hassle and they really knew their stuff. The internal courtyard was my favorite place to sit and people watch with a sangria in hand. The room was well kept and impeccable- perhaps they should add more thought to the minibar which was minimal and boring. Otherwise absolutely no complaints! Loved it. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Melodramatic and opulent historic hotel

May 22nd, 2019

A hotel like this could only be in Seville, with its (melo)dramatic - slightly bombastic - architecture and opulent, luxurious decor comprising patterned marble floors, Moorish stucco arches, Moroccan-style lamps, colourful tiled walls and a sweeping marble staircase off the lobby. The Arabic style (Grand Double Deluxe) room had a keyhole Moorish arch over the bed, metallic tiled bathroom and a mix of dark wood and velvet furnishings. The custom Le Labo toiletries were a nice touch. The breakfast spread was seriously impressive - and discounted by 50% on check-in - and taken in the restaurant surrounding the central Andalusian courtyard. The American Bar - at least the interior - lacked a bit of atmosphere but the Negronis were very solid. Some money is just wasted staying at 'fancy hotels', but this is money well spent if you are after lodging completely befitting of place. I absolutely loved it; truly one of the most awe inspiring hotel at which I have stayed. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Breathtaking palacd

May 21st, 2019

I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. It is lovely. The attention to detail is second to none. Upon entering the lobby, your eyes go directly to the Calle Lillies. We ate breakfast in the courtyard daily and the spread was quite elaborate- donuts, waffles, crepes, fruit, meats, cheeses, sausages, omelette station and pastries. The room was not super large- but it is an old palace. My one complaint is that we could never get the air to cut on- luckily it was May and not August. The concierge was very helpful and gave us a lot of advise on how to spend our Sunday and assisted in getting Alcazar tickets. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Unique historic hotel

Love this hotel! With its amazing history and great location, made this a great hotel for my husband and I. It gives a romantic feel both when you enter the hotel and also in the room. It is centrally located and super easy to walk around. We got the chance one afternoon to have cocktails in their main bar and had a great martini. It did not disappoint! When in town make sure to visit the cathedral, especially at night. I will definitely come back. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
