Beds in need of replacement. Mattresses are of the poorest quality.

Beds are in poor condition. Staff is very nice. Location isn't in a good area of town so need to uber places to see anything. Lots of road noise comes through the windows. Beware of the restaurant. It is loaded with flies, especially in the evening. You can't eat a meal without actively protecting your plate. You have to wonder what they are landing on in the kitchen when there are so many in the restaurant. Food quality was good. At breakfast they did a fantastic job with gluten free meals. Dinner was a little more challenging as they seemed less willing to make accommodations. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

The hotel Andeluz was one of the first 4 hotels built by Conrad Hilton, who was also from NM. It offers allot of history, charm and character. The hotel is centrally located which works well if doing business or visiting in the immediate area. The main lobby is really interesting, if not quirky with its art, furniture, library room, coy gold fish pond and overall layout which makes for a neat environment. The neat furnishings and artwork is present on the room floors as well. The entire staff, from reception through the restaurant (Jeff and his food and beverage team at Mas Tapas are great) and housekeeping and valet parking (shout out to Troy) were super nice and take allot of pride in their work and the hotel, which speaks volumes. The fitness center and pool is offsite through a third party which concerned me at first but it worked out fine since the facility was just across the street. The gym offered a much more extensive facility and programs than an onsite hotel run gym could offer. That said, there is not an outdoor pool on site at the hotel or gym which may be important for families or others. Valet parking is pretty much mandatory at the Andeluz but the upshot is that the staff is very efficient and their offsite lot is secure. In summary, our room was large and clean, the staff was nice, the Internet was fast the gym was fine plus the restaurant and rooftop bar were well managed and nice. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Old and historic
Aug 10th, 2019
If you like history, old buildings, creaky elevators, smug staff and tepid showers, this place is for you. However if you want a pool, fitness center, ice machine, drink machines, coffee in the rooms, hot showers, amenities of any kind, good service and helpful staff, you will hate this hotel as we did. Never again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
No water, ice, coffee, room service took one hour.

The shower barely had water pressure. No ice, bottled water, you had to go to the 2nd floor to get a glass filled with water. No coffee at front desk or room Ordered room service and for coffee for 2 and water it was $18.00! Room was old, sheets and bed mattress old. I will never stay there again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

In an age of cookie-cutter, “same everywhere” hotels, Andaluz is a welcome respite. The valet was friendly, informative, and welcomed me with a quick orientation to where I was and what was in the surrounding area. Digital key took me right into my room - a nice upgrade as a Diamond member was possible. Everything was well done in the renovation here - historic elements were honored, modern amenities like a good bathroom created. My dinner and breakfast at Tapas Mas Vino were both excellent. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in ABQ! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
