Worst hotel in Brussels
Oct 23rd, 2019
Hotel needs a total revamp. There was a hole in my bedroom wall, the side of the bath was held together with tape. Everything was very dated and scruffy. The bed was quite hard, the room (12) was noisy. The street was not very nice, I did not feel safe as a woman alone outside. My company paid 150 euros (the cheapest we could find in Brussels at short notice) for this awful experience which is more than double what it was worth. I travel often to Brussels for work and I will not stay here again. The only plus side is that it was clean. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Decent budget hotel in excellent location!

I spend one night in Aristote hotel and it was definitely a positive experience! Hotel locates in the beginning of Avenue de Stalingrad, a central avenue, just half way between Central station and Grand place, about 10 minutes walk for each direction, which makes the location ideal. For around 50 euro I paid for one night it is a decent budget friendly hotel, not the super new and modern but clean and comfy. The big plus was that the room had a private balcony with nice view of the Avenue de Stalingrad and nearby plaza. Staff was very friendly and helpful and reception is open 24/7. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Staff is kind. The room was a disaster, I showed a picture of the room to the staff at the reception, I do not know how he was not embarrassed. For this price I expected something more decent. Go for airbbnb or other hotels. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
One happy customer

I’m a big fan of cheap and cheerful accommodations in prime locations because they allow us, who don’t like to pay the premium price tags, the opportunity to enjoy the locations equally (without having to share any facilities with other guests). Hotel Aristote is one that fits the bill. It is located 10 minutes light walk from Gare du Midi and further 10 minutes to Grand Place. Stayed 3 nights in single room, en-suite, for 140 euros. Arrived late in the evening with Eurostar and check in took around a minute, was allocated a room on 4th floor overlooking the main road with the statue and roundabout. Can’t fault it, amazing. Everything in the room worked well, bed comfortable, tv had quite a few English speaking channels and shower pretty good. Room, however small, could have been arranged better to create more space. Security was good and premises locked during the night. Adjoining restaurant seemed popular but closed early. Despite being in the middle of ‘everything’, it was really calm and quiet during the night. I would definitely stay here again, but only solo as I’m not sure me and my partner could cope with such a small space together... TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
The right place to visit Bruxelles
Mar 25th, 2019
I visited Bruxelles for two days and I picked up this hotel, based on the position. It was the right choice: it's really close to the centre and to the main stations, Midi and Central (both at 10 minutes walking). The hotel is linked to an good looking italian restaurant and in the nearby there are two nice cafè, very useful for having a beer or else. Everyone in the staff is very kind and I have nothing to complain about their treatment. Although, I can't honestly advise it if you're looking for more than a place to rest: my room had several problems that didn't make it impossibile to stay and sleep, but didn't make it a good room either. Bed base, crooked lamps, power outlet not fixed to the wall, broken tiles in the bathroom... Not a nice room, but perfect if you don't have any claims. The price is fair only according to the location. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
