BEST NYC hotel!

This hotel is awesome! It has an old school charm that takes you back to a time when people dressed for dinner, held doors for one another, and spent more time together. Only a couple blocks from Central Park, close to all the trains, plenty of stores, restaurants, etc. nearby or within walking distance. The staff was excellent. They took great care of us and there was always someone ready to answer any questions or point us in the right direction. The cost was on the same level of similar hotels but far more worth it! We will stay here every time we visit NYC! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Great Place to base yourself for NYC

I stayed here for a few days for work, it had easy access to all the places I needed to be. The staff were great and my room was perfect. I had a small problem with the radiator, it made a bit of noise when it came on. Not a big issue and I reported it to the front desk. Would certainly come back. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

We paid extra for a luxury queen room with city view the room was dated with a 70s headboard. The window stuck together with cellotape and a view across the rooftops to the hudson. I would say hardly a city view. When i asked they said that was the room we had booked. The heating was noisy and banged throughout the night. The hotel looks like it is being updated to nicer rooms but iould leave this for abiut 6 months so that they may have finished. Overall not a bad spot to explore NY as close to the museum and central park but right in the middle of manhattan so ok if you enjoy a walk TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
