Great Experience

Jul 15th, 2019

Came to Warsaw early to join a tour later. This hotel is steps from Old Town, has a great restaurant, and the largest, most plush rooms we’ve found in Europe. High ceilings, comfortable bed, huge bath, all marble. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They have limo pickup from the airport at a reasonable price too. We loved our stay there. Beautiful hotel, great location for walking to Castle and Square. Large bathroom with walk in shower, very clean and fresh. Breakfast was “okay” but the hotel was wonderful. Isabel at the front desk was helpful and a great asset to our visit. We stayed 2 nights on arrival and had a large room - with an orchid blooming in the window. When we returned 2 weeks later for our one night prior to departure we were given a much smaller room but it was nice and clean. This room was above the casino and we did not hear a thing. The hotel was clean and excellently located.

We did not expect to find the charm and warmth in a city the size of Warsaw, but the people, the food, the history, even with swarms of school children on their year-end outings was beyond compare. The museums of the Uprising and the Jewish History are not to be missed. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great location - food overpriced

Jun 16th, 2019

Ideal location, just on the edge of Warsaw's Old Town (the main tourism hotspot). Service was good from what we saw, check in and out was smooth. Hotel had a patisserie-style cafe on the ground floor which is nice but quite expensive. There's also a restaurant on-site that serves dinner and the hotel's breakfast option. The breakfast price is extortionate. During our stay, we were awoken at 6am with loud construction work just outside the wall of the hotel adjacent to our room. While it was unpleasant, after explaining to reception they apologised and we were upgraded to free breakfast. As I said, nice gesture as the standard price is very expensive. Having tried the breakfast, was not worth their asking price but certainly offers some local Polish options in a part buffet, part a la carte setup. The room itself was lovely, very clean, tidy and beautifully arranged. Hotel as a whole was grand and fashionably decorated. It also doubles up as a conference centre and during our stay hosted an awards ceremony where visitors spilled onto the lobby/reception area with pictures being taken etc. It can feel a bit more like a business vibe instead of an intimate hotel. We emailed ahead of arrival about arranging transfer from Warsaw Modlin Airport. Prompt replies and we were told roughly £40 for one way. In the end, we got the bus from the airport to Palace of Culture (not far from hotel, about 15 mins walk) for at least half the price cheaper but on the return leg used the hotel to book a taxi. Lovely rooms, weak services

Jun 15th, 2019

Hotel Bellotto is beautiful and its rooms are elegant. It’s in a perfect location for a tourist visit to Warsaw. However, guest services and breakfast are not up to five-star standards. Our room was too hot for sleeping comfortably. We requested help and that process eventually required the service of someone who who would not be available until after we checked out. Also, we confirmed with the front desk on our first night that our reservation included breakfast, only to hear the next morning that it did not. The staff would not correct that situation for us at least for that morning. The breakfast offering was probably sufficient for a three-star hotel, but very clearly below expectations at a five-star hotel. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
