Central Location beside Duomo
Nov 21st, 2019
Access to get to reception was by stairs and one small elevator so access is not the easiest. The hotel is in a shared building and is on the 3rd and 4th floors of the building. Hotel was clean and included small continental breakfast each morning. Our room had a great view of the Duomo, a main level with bathroom, desk and pull out couch. The upper loft had two single beds. Great central location that you could easily walk the city. The street noise did not bother us as it quieted down by 11 (we stayed on week nights though, weekends may be nosier). Being close to the Duomo made it easier to find if you lost your bearings trying to find your way back. TRIPADVISOR.COM USERÂ
Mediocre

One of our rooms did not have a view to Duomo, the other had partial vision from bathroom only... The hotel is situated in center of Florence. The odd part was that in the building the hotel owns only 2-3 floors, and the reception is at the third floor. There are no indicators for that... The elevator is very old and small. The room was vintage with a dark feeling and was full of paintings(my room had a sketch with the center of Florence). Clean. No slippers, no iron, small soap, no hair dryer. The pillows and the blanket could be much better. You need to leave the key every time to reception if you want to leave the hotel. The price is very high for what they offer(i don't really care about the Duomo view because i wasn't goin in Florence to stay at the window in hotel) The breakfast is mediocre(no vegetables, no fruits, cold milk etc. TRIPADVISOR.COM USERÂ
Very central location, access to reception by stairs and tiny lift
Sep 30th, 2019
From the street entrance, to get to reception you first have to go up a flight of stairs one floor then get into a tiny lift, then go up to reception on 3rd floor, not suitable for everyone ! Our room had a mezzanine floor with the bed and bathroom accessed up a narrow staircase in the room, ok but odd. Location is extremely central, but even on 4th floor with windows and shutters closed there is a lot of people noise from around the street and Cathedral square until the early hours, and the Bells from the Bell Tower are so close they will wake you at 7am for sure. We asked for a quiet room and was assured this one was, but this room also suffers from lift noise as the lift motors/mechanism is very close so that will keep you awake too. Overall expect a very central location, but an odd arrangement of access by stairs and tiny lift to the reception area TRIPADVISOR.COM USERÂ
Perfect location unbelievable views out to the Duomo
Sep 25th, 2019
We stayed here for 5 nights, found it the perfect location for everything we needed to d, it was so close to the Duomo and the piazza, and only a short walk to nearly all the. sights we wanted to see. The Welcome and information we got when we booked in was so warm and friendly, the rooms were brilliant, the hotel was clean and bright if a little noisy at times. The only downside was the breakfast was not very exciting, and the breakfast room a little small if everyone was there at once. The bedrooms have a mezzanine level with either bathrooms on the same level or on the downstairs level so if you have mobility issues you may want to think about this too. We loved it. Duomo view and central location
Aug 24th, 2019
We requested a Duomo view and got it, which was great. It was noisy if you had the windows open as you’re on the main street, but it’s worth it for the view. Central location where you can walk everywhere. Room was a good size. TRIPADVISOR.COM USERÂ
