DAMAGED VEHICLE JULY 29 OR 30

Aug 16th, 2019

We checked in to this hotel Monday July 29 approximately 12pm. There is only valet parking. July 30 morning we requested our vehicle and it was brought out with damage on the rear passenger door, dented and white powder or paint down it. Our camera shhows the vehicle moved numerous times during that period. All by hotel staff. The manager Anthony Tremblay assured us he would look at cameras. Of course he advised there was nothing on video. All the staff denied hitting anything...not surprised!!! We took it to the next level. Michelle Debille who also asked staff!!! Of course they will deny it. That vehicle was handed over in good faith and damaged by someone who works there. It is a brand new Ford Explorer. We will not recommend this hotel to anyone. Other reviewers have also reported damage and no acceptance of responsibility. So incredibly disappointed. There is possibly a white vehicle as well that may have sustained damage during that time. If you have damage be sure to report it to the police and get insurance information. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Unexpected pleasure

Aug 12th, 2019

A quick overnight stay on the way out East. We were pleasantly surprised by both the location and the overall style of the hotel. It’s a converted row of townhouses right off park by the Citadel. The room was very comfortable and we were walking distance to everything. Staff are friendly and are happy to speak English as my French is hideous. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Nice boutique hotel in heart of the city

Aug 7th, 2019

Location is perfect. Valet parking is 19$ per day, but well worth it considering the location, Free coffee, juices and fruits are very nice bonus. Rooms are basic, but on a good side. Air conditioning could be a bit quieter, but it was OK. All personal speaks english. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Very nice hotel, very close to lots of things to see and do

Aug 7th, 2019

This boutique hotel is a very small but quant hotel. The rooms seemed to have been upgraded however remain small, especially the washroom. We spent most of our time out of the hotel so the room size didnt bother us much. They offer a contenital breakfast for $15.00 each. We did not use this. A short 10 min walk take you to street with several restuarants and cafes. Valet parking is $19.00 a day. We basically parked the car upon checking in and didnt get into it until we left so this was very convient for us. Everything is in walking distance from restaurants to street performers. The hotel seemed very quiet. The typical doors closing noises but other than that is was great. If the occassion arises, we will definitely stay here again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Quiet and Convenient in Upper Old Town

Aug 7th, 2019

We had a very nice two-night stay here. We drove to Quebec City and arrived at the hotel before noon; even so, our room was ready. Parking in front of the hotel to drop off our things was super easy, and then hotel staff valet parked the car in a small lot behind the hotel. We didn’t need our car again until we left the city, but we could have used it if we had needed it, and for no extra charge. There were several stairs up to the hotel’s entrance, with an elevator inside. The size of the room was fine – not huge, but perfectly sufficient. (Our third floor room also boasted park and water views; technically we could see the river, but the view was mostly obstructed by the leafy trees in the park!) Continental breakfast came free because we booked directly with the hotel. (Eggs and boiling water to cook them in to your liking, a variety of breads, warm croissants and raspberry pastries, vanilla yogurt and many toppings, coffees, teas, juices.) And yes – we tried out the wine dispenser in the lobby, because why not; the wine was ok, not great, but we can now say we used the dispenser. The hotel was on a quiet side street and across from a lovely park overlooking the river; we did not hear the hubbub from Rue Saint Louis even though it was only a block away. Convenient to everything in the upper town and a 3 minute walk to the top of the funicular or 5 minutes to the stairs down to Petit Champlain. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. So many hotels in the city – for the location and price we were happy with our choice. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
