at the Hotel Crescent Court
Still a speacial place

From even before we arrived in the hotel, the staff, starting with the Concierge team was delightful and helpful. Once we got to the hotel, that translated to the front desk, restaurant staff and even the cleaning staff. It has been many years since I stayed at the CC but great to see that it remains such a wonderful place to stay. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Anxiously awaiting y’all’s reply!

Let me start by saying we love this hotel. My mom went to Hockaday; we love this city, this area, Harvard commas, and this hotel. I think y’all do great things here and I’m far from anonymous; my username in every social media platform is BENTLEYTOCK. My mom invited me down while my gf was working (we live in Oregon now, my mom in MS) so that I could spend Valentine’s Day with her. I thought this was sweet. My mom and I had dinner at Nobu and it was incredible. Props to the staff there and the guy playing the electric violin. Magical. In all seriousness. I am a hard worker trying to make ends meet as best I can in a gig economy world for English majors. I get to the hotel Thursday evening; my mom had made specific notes to the checker inners that her card should cover incidentals ($200 per night per room minimum) but I check in late and they pressure me to give my card for incidentals. I don’t want to cause a scene; but that $600 they laid on my card, when she left explicit instructions, and a card, with more than enough to cover incidentals, cleaned me out. My wallet was stolen the week before. And I’m traveling with my backup debit card, to a savings account, where I just simply have limited funds. A perfect storm of uggghhhhh. And this isn’t the hotel’s fault, my losing my card. But the way The Crescent handled it from here; it kind of blew my mind. So they call me at 8 AM Friday morning “Sir I’m with management and yr mom is upset with the staff concerning something with yr debit card, do you not have enough money to cover yr room?” It’s 8Am This is how mngmt decides to approach this. I cordially explain that my flight got in late and I have a business meeting at 9 AM, incidentally, and I can’t respond to any of this right now. 4pm Friday, my obligations are done. I call my bank, I ask them to reverse the charges. They want to speak to someone at the front desk. They give him explicit instructions of what he needs to do to have the charges reversed. He might or might not have done so. Now I’m in a precarious situation. The bank might be reversing the charges, they might not. But it’s now 4:05 AM on Saturday and my bank hasn’t reversed the charges, apparently “no one” is at fault, according to the hotel. And now I’m stuck with a difficult problem on a weekend where Monday is a holiday as well. I debated writing this. But I think I explained things pretty well here. “No one is at fault” are brave words. Let’s see how it pans out with social media as a test........ TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

We had a blast staying here, conveniently located near everything, the rooftop pool and bar made for a great place to hang early afternoons and the room was gorgeous and stocked with everything we needed! Would recommend to anyone staying in Dallas! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Stayed overnight while in town for business and had an amazing stay! The hotel is gorgeous and smells amazing. Excellent customer service all around and the rooms are so clean, new, tastefully decorated, and comfortable. Love the Molton Brown bath products - smell so good! I was so impressed and will stay here now every time I’m in Dallas. Highly recommend. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Incredible service. Incredible facility. I wont stay anywhere else in Dallas. The staff was very professional and went well out of there way to make sure our stay was top notch. There is a reason all the celebrities stay here. Also, was great getting to see Jessica Simpson. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
