Perfect boutique hotel in a great part of Paris
Mar 4th, 2020
Want to stay in a cool area of Paris? In a great hotel? Definitely consider the Hotel de Buci. It is centrally located in the 6th A, in a lively area with great restaurants and wine bars and everything else is pretty much within walking distance (and what better city to walk!). Hotel de Buci is a boutique hotel that delivers service and amenities without an attitude. All staff are friendly, approachable and very eager to help and please to ensure you have a great stay. From nice umbrellas to borrow for a rainy day, to the NY Times available for reading, to coffee and wine at your fingertips to enjoy. The breakfast offerings are substantial, the beds incredibly comfortable, the rooms very clean and pretty with updated bathrooms. Leave your hairdryer at home - there's is fantastic. They have robes and slippers too. The rooms are kind of snug, but there are two closets. Besides, European hotels and not like US hotels no matter where you go so they are no different than other hotels. They key is that the rooms are very clean with quality linens and toiletries. Forget your converter? No worries, they have some to borrow. Need to make dinner reservations and don't speak French? DOn't worry, Sanjay is your man. Most of the good restaurants in France get booked early and fast so plan before you go. Then give your list to Sanjay and he will make the calls. That saves you time and frustrations. He is all about service and making sure you REALLY have a good time. The entire staff is terrific. Def recommend HdeB! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Gorgeous hotel, Friendly staff, Calming but street noise
Feb 28th, 2020
So clean, So beautiful, Centrally located (walk EVERYWHERE). ONLY drawback-- noise on street. However, they gave us a fan to help drown it out a bit, and it wasn't so loud we couldn't sleep. Sanjay is an incredible concierge. We want to go back asap! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Outstanding boutique hotel

Having just returned from my fifth stay in this hotel, I can confidently recommend Hotel De Buci for those seeking a quality hotel in the heart of beautiful St Germain. Situated only a couple of minutes walk from two metro stations, the hotel puts the whole of Paris on your doorstep. Sanjay, the forever helpful head concierge, and his English speaking team, are always on hand to answer any queries, recommend restaurants, arrange transport etc. Hotel De Buci provides a warmth of service the big chain hotels can never achieve. Additionally, the breakfast buffet is outstanding. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Definitely recommend and would come back

I loved staying at Hotel de Buci in Paris. My mom and I went to Paris for a fun trip and we stayed at the hotel. I speak French but my mom doesn't speak a lick of French whatsoever. The staff at the hotel speak English perfectly, so it made our jet-lagged, brain dead check in run smoothly. I know this hotel is a little bit on the pricier side; after all, there is a lot of competition in Paris for great hotels, but I love the vibe of a boutique hotel. I cannot express how incredibly wonderful the staff was the entire time. Sanjay is the concierge and he is wonderfully knowledgeable about great eats, attractions and other accommodations in the city. what I liked most about this hotel is that they also offered a portal wifi router (for lack of a better word) that I could carry in my purse so I wasn't using all of my data trying to access my emails, locations, or text messages. The rooms are sizeable. Enough for a double bed or queen and some extra space for luggage. The closets in our room were immensely helpful for storing and hanging our coats and clothes. I absolutely loved the location of the hotel too. It is in a great neighborhood in Paris and I never felt uncomfortable walking around. In fact, it was a fairly lively neighborhood even at midnight when people are sitting outside brasseries and having a drink. Even with all of the hustle and bustle on the streets below, once we turned in for the night and closed our blackout curtains, it was as if you were in the countryside part of France--very very quiet.
