Recommended quiet luxurious hotel

Nov 15th, 2019

This hotel is lovely. The car park is spacious. The pool is warm and beautiful. The bedrooms are spacious and very clean. There is an excursion desk with great excursions. Highly recommended. Did many during our time there. The restaurant is stunning, the food is great and the theme nights lush but I have to pin point how amasing the staff were there. The negative point is the kitchen was extremely slow. 2hrs + for our dinners. Too long. However I still recommend this place. Kitty cats were cuuuuute! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

A delightful and very friendly hotel.

Aug 30th, 2019

From the moment that we arrived, everyone was superbly friendly and helpful, and that remained true throughout our stay. Our French was very rusty, but all the staff did their best to help to bridge the language gap, with many of them being fluent in several languages. The hotel is built around an old windmill, which you can climb up to see great views of the whole area. The rooms are in pairs in individual buildings scattered around the grounds. Our room was a junior suite, which was on two stories and was very spacious. The spiral staircase to the bedroom area is tight and probably not for anyone with significant mobility issues, but the use of a mezzanine like this made for a lot of space and airiness. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel each day, and the food was excellent, as was the service at dinner (breakfast was self-service). There was a choice of at least two starters, main courses and deserts each day, and they were different every day. Dining was in a covered but open air space, as was the bar, which ensured that we were made comfortable by the constant breeze. The pool was large, with enough room to be able to exercise with swimming, and was uncrowded during our stay. The hotel is not on a beach, and is probably not ideal for a beach holiday, but it is in a beautiful and tranquil setting with lovely mature gardens and a very restful feel which is ideal for those wanting to relax. It was easy to find when we arrived by car, and is close to both St Anne's and to the delightful town of St Francois to the east of the island. Highly recommended! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great Little Hotel with Exceptional Service

Jul 19th, 2019

From our initial booking through to our checkout the service from the staff was exceptional; staff were friendly, accomodating and couldn't do enough. Language was never a problem all the staff seemed the speak impeccable English. The service in the restaurant of an evening was polite and efficient. The food was on the whole was good with their Table D'Hote offering excellent value for money. The special lobster night was really good. With an award winning barman you can be assured that your drinks, especially the cocktails are made with loving care; nothing was too much trouble if you want an ice bucket for the room just ask. The staff at reception were friendly and helpful organising car hire and taxis whenever we wanted them; and recommending and booking restaurants when our first choice was closed. When we had issues with our safe and shower reception got the maintenance team to fix immediately and with minimum impact to us. Our superior suite was roomy and decorated in typical neutral colours. The private terrace and jacuzzi was the icing on the cake. The room was regularly and efficiently serviced. However one thing to note is that it is remote and I recommend you hire a car; but I will still be recommending this hotel to family and friends. A great little hotel. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great little find...

Jul 10th, 2019

If you after a bit of comfort, then this is a place for you. The suite we stayed in was spacious although the steep ascend to the mezzanine bedroom was a chore, especially as all the bathroom facilities are downstairs. Swimming pool and sun beds etc facilities are perfect and they make an excellent cocktail from the pool bar. Breakfast is a little hit and miss if you come half hour before closing with the hot dishes on the buffet not being replenished and what is left is not for consumption. They will nevertheless make you something on request. Otherwise, the patisserie, fruits etc are perfect. A little disappointed with the three course ‘half board’ Table d’Hote Dinner menu on offer, with the choice of dishes very restricting and to get access to the more exciting food on offer, you need to pay the extra Euros. Saying that, what we received was very well executed...well done! The team of staff are very friendly and forthcoming, especially our young bartender on duty at the pool cocktail bar..excellent job! All in all, it’s been a good experience and II’m happy to recommend it. Enjoy your stay, TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

An Oasis to be devoured!

Jul 9th, 2019

A return visit to Saint Anne’s before flying out left us with the usual accommodation choices, or did it? My husband had spotted Le Relais du Moulin the week previously and reserved a suite for our last 2 nights in Guadeloupe and what a lovely surprise it was! Overall it was a delight, it does seem to be the choice for couples with young children also, choose your dining table wisely! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
