Rooftop Brunch

Oct 21st, 2020

When this was booked by my friend, I have to be honest I was a bit concerned that it would be really manly and football related. I was really surprised to find a hidden rooftop. The views were great and it did not feel like I was in a football themed hotel, apart from the obvious view of the stadium. When we came in, we were greeted by a lovely lady called Jess - if she see this, she had really cool trainers on !!. She gave us an envelope which meant we could continue our day in another area later. This was a massive bonus as we thought we would have to go straight home. The whole afternoon didn't feel rushed at all and the drinks were continuously topped up. the we have the food. I haven't been to many brunches but usually it always feels like a big stodgy breakfast. Not this time, this food was amazing - all picky bits, just what you want when you want to drink. I was full but not to the point where I didn't want more prosecco! The music was great we didn't want to leave! one of the team showed us to the lift and then we entered another space- this was a bit more football themed but again, music when we walked in was fab!!! We were served by Marcus who was really friendly, even though by this point we may have been a little annoying (all the prosecco) and he made sure we were topped up. over all it not disappoint - I felt safe - something i haven't felt in other venues The team were fun and friendly - what you want when you are trying to let your hair down! Bottomless Brunch

Oct 21st, 2020

A group of 6 of us visited on Saturday for Bottomless Brunch and to watch the 8pm Man United game, which was a birthday celebration for my 18 year old son. It quickly became apparent that there was a problem with showing the match, which never came on, but I have to say a huge thank you to the team, because although that was obviously the main reason for visiting, they still went out of their way to make our visit a very special one. I can only imagine the stress the staff must have been under, but they dealt with the situation extremely well, and continually made sure everyone had drinks. The food was plentiful and they went the extra mile to cater for my 18 year old who has Celiac Disease. So, once again a big thank you to all the team at Hotel Football for rescuing the evening, and we will definitely be booking again! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great themed hotel

Oct 18th, 2020

Had a great stay at this themed hotel at Old Trafford. Helps if you are a bit into football, but even if not, all to high specs. No cost cutting during these times, making the guests being appreciated and warmly welcomed. Shout out to Vitor TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Bottomless brunch without the punch

Oct 17th, 2020

I’m a huge United fan so was really keen to take part in their bottomless brunch. What I will say is that the views are great- couldn’t fault it. Staff were friendly enough. But the food was genuinely dreadful. Probably the worst food I’ve ever had in a bottomless brunch. It was cold for a start and also just very poor quality. It was so disappointing. I didn’t want to think badly of the place because of my love for the team tbh but in reflection it was very poor. There were 6 of us. Then at 8 minutes before 6 o’clock we were refused a final drink because it was’ all gone’. Again very poor. I’ve never been to a bottomless brunch where they didn’t pour till at least the cut off time. It was bad and there were no splices for it either. Finally- the cherry on the cake was the fact we’d gone there to watch the 8 o’clock kick off game. Having booked a table in the bar we arrived and ordered drinks- but it quickly became apparent that the football wasn’t coming on. Apparently problems with sky but there must have been over 100 people in there all there to watch football in ‘hotel football’ and it didn’t come on! In the end we decided to go home and stream it instead despite our plans to stay there and watch it. We were also told we couldn’t have a second cocktail because it was ‘too busy and everyone was kicking off because the football wasn’t on’. Come on Gary- you’re a legend to us. But this is Really very poor value for money- and although I loved the views there was very little else to enjoy today! I’d love to be recommending this people but I’m honesty based on our experience today I simply wouldn’t. 🙁 TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great location with good view.

Oct 11th, 2020

Great location with good view. I really liked the location of the hotel, as well as the furnishing of the room and the bathroom. Seems that towels in bathroom a little bit small and short. But really really grat place. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
