There are probably better alternatives in Oaxaca

Feb 5th, 2020

The hotel is located in the outskirts of the city some 30 min walking distance from the city center (we tested the walking distance!). The hotel was built i 1982, which was quite apparent. The lifts were probably the originals, some carpet areas was kept in place with tape, and there were lot of cracks in the bathroom tiles. Large and clean room, smallish and depressing (see above) bathroom. Breakfast was very minimalistic with no options for the non-domestic palate. One irritating detail, you had to pay in the hotel restaurant, signing the check was not an option. We had a room facing a back street. They had rooms facing the city but they were expensive. Worst hotel ever stayed in

Jan 25th, 2020

terrible service and rude staff. the only staff that was kind to me was the nice man who speaks english in the restaurant. the housekeeping staff moved my friends bags around and moved her passport. also, the food is very bad. i did not enjoy my stay here. if you are a tourist, DO NOT stay in this hotel. the staff will speak spanish in front of you and laugh. also, it took 1 hour for a water bottle to get to the table. Horrible service

Jan 7th, 2020

Simple rooms. Poor location (far from downtown). Horrible service. My girlfriend got trapped +30 minutes in the elevator and missed an important commitment. Lights didn't work. Alarm didn't work. She screamed until she lost her voice. Staff did nothing. Guests eventually heard her, managed to open the elevator, and helped her out. She complained to the receptionist. The receptionist gave her 3 pieces of fruit and refused to apologize. She then talked to the manager. The manager was arrogant, refused to give her a soup, and also refused to apologize. Meanwhile, another guest got trapped in the same elevator. ~24 hours later, the elevator is still defective and has no sign. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Clean and comfortable

Oct 18th, 2019

Clean, comfortable, large rooms. The buffet breakfast was great for my picky 2 year old. The pool area looked nice but with all there is to do in the city we didn't have time to check it out. Staff was helpful and friendly and most spoke English. Would probably stay closer to Centro next time but enjoyed our time here. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Loved this hotel! Clean, quiet and near main plaza! Friendly staff that is always available to assist. The restaurants food was really tasty. Recommend you make reservations but you don’t need to.!My family and I had a great time in the pool. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
