Great Location and Comfortable Room !

Aug 24th, 2020

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. 1. Location It is located just in front of the Triumphal Arch. It is a 5-minute walking distance to the old town. There are tourist attractions, supermarkets, restaurants, tram stops etc around. It is really convenient. 2. Check-in & check-out The check in time is only available till 7pm. Since we reached hotel after 7pm, the staff left the key at the letter box. They will send us the passcode to unlock the letter box. It is convenient. Check-out is also fast. 3. Room It is comfortable and clean. 4. Parking There is no on-site parking. We can park at street (free at 9pm-9am) or parkhaus. Since we have Innsbruck Card, we can park at Bus Parking Lot near the garden for free. It is about 15 minutes walking from hotel. 5. WiFi Strong signal. 6. Innsbruck Card If you plan to go to mountains and museums, I will strongly suggest you to buy a Innsbruck Card. It is value for money. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Nice hotel with limited opening times

Aug 12th, 2020

This hotel is very nice. I had a room on the second floor with a nice view on the street. The rooms are quite clean and good accessible. It is a shame the opening hours are limited. Moreover the breakfast was okay. Although the hotel is quite cheap, take into account that when you need to park your car you also need to pay 15-20 euro per day. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great affordable gem in the heart of innsbruck

Mar 5th, 2020

Great location in the heart of this beautiful city. Friendly and helpful staff. We booked this as we needed accommodation prior to flying out of Innsbruck after a skiing holiday. Had we known how beautiful it is we would allowed ourselves longer to explore. We took the budget option which was perfect for our needs and offered excellent value for money and also included a simple but good breakfast. Would definitely return for a short break. Mind the bedbugs!!! Choose another hotel!

Feb 17th, 2020

The first night, I had still unknown insects in my bed resulting in red and severely itching blotches on several parts of my body. Upon reporting the next morning, the staff promised me to change the bed sheets. After a sleepless second night it was clear that the room was infested by bedbugs. Again I reported at the reception desk but no action was taken. As the hotel was fully booked, they could not offer another room, neither they offered to help me in searching another hotel. When I asked them to transfer my luggage, I was told that they do not have the capacity. They charged me the full prize for two nights and did not apologize. I have doubts that they arranged a professional cleaning of the infested room. Worst experience ever! Moreover: The room was small, dark, old with a musty smell. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Excellent hotel for a city break

Jan 12th, 2020

On arrival, we were greeted by Julia who we want to single out for her superb welcome. She immediately recommended local restaurants which were all excellent. She offered us the tourist card which we decided to chance after she explained that with the card virtually everything is free. She also got extra pillows as we like 2 each. The hotel is a little dated and tired, but clean and warm. We were there for the sightseeing not to sit in our room watching TV. The room was about the size you would expect in Europe. If you are from the US do not expect much space. The bathroom is a bit like a capsule in a caravan - quirky, but with plenty of hot water, very clean, with fresh towels every day. Breakfast is included, one of the reasons we chose this hotel. An extremely good breakfast was laid out, with juice, cereals, fruit, meat, cheese and eggs (including hot boiled), rolls & breads and a good coffee machine with freshly ground beans. More than enough. Our room overlooked the road and it was reasonably quiet during the Christmas Market season (Overall the traffic in the city was minimal during our stay.) Location for central Innsbruck is perfect, half an hour plane to hotel, & within walking distance to everything. Train station 5 mins, main shopping area to the left, bus stop to & from the airport (line F, 2.50 euros) just across the road. We used our tourist card over 72 hours for which we each paid 59 euros, but saved over 60. All in all a lovely visit, we would stay again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
