Cozy lovely boutique hotel and perfect location

Feb 16th, 2020

A perfect winter break. Stayed there 4 nights on the 1st week of Feb. 2020. The hotel itself is a perfect touch, luv the corner on the 3rd floor where you can sit down and enjoy a cup of herb tea and read a book, but you are not here for reading, thats what the receptionist told me when she found me sitting there, it was raining outside :-). Location is perfect, close to everything, just a few steps from hotel you are in the historic area. Not train station :-). Staffs were very friendly, specially the receptionist, she was very nice and helpful. Thank you Ulrike. Breakfast was delicious and coffee was really good - the last 1 is rare when you have breakfast in the hotel. You get 5 euro in return for not asking to clean the room per day. Its really nice lol, This was the 1st time that I get a refund for not asking to clean the room, I do that for free usually. There was only 1 small problem to me, that the shower somehow is not convenient to use. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Lovely winter break

Feb 4th, 2020

Went to Salzburg for a little winter break in January. Firstly, the welcome at the hotel was absolutely fantastic. Ulrike, who checked us in, was the definition of customer service. She welcomed us with a lovely Austrian lemonade and made us feel comfortable from the off. She noticed it was my birthday in a few days time and gave us a mini prosecco bottle to cheers and she talked us through where everything to see and do in the city was. She even walked us to our room and talked us through how everything worked so there would be no confusion. The room itself was fantastic. Spacious and modern whilst still feeling cozy and intimate. Great location, easy to get to all the sights in the city. Ate at the restaurant in the evening and the food was delicious! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Perfect little boutique hotel.

This is a really cool and unique hotel. Historical building in a prime Salzburg location where you can walk everywhere. Very modern rooms with funky decor. Loved the little Smeg fridges with the complimentary drinks too. The restaurant downstairs is also really good, we had an amazing dinner there. Very hospitable reception also. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Wished I could have stayed longer....

Dec 30th, 2019

This hotel is somewhat different to those I usually stay in, it has a lot of character and quirkiness which took me a little while to get used to. By the time I had become accustomed to its style and way of doing things I did not want to leave ! This is surely what a holiday should do, teach you new experiences. The situation is very central in the pretty and popular part of the Old Town. You have to remember that cars cannot access the building so if you are coming by taxi the driver will drop you and collect at the end of the small pedestrian street which is not far. Once you have found your bearings however the airport is so quick to get to it is just as easy to catch the bus. The staff are without exception most accommodating and pleasant, including the ladies who clean the room who make sure you have everything you need. The bathroom was quite small but the shower fantastic ! I particularly appreciated the fact that the door was waterproof sealed so you can take advantage of the high pressure. Nice toiletries to accompany the experience too. The breakfast is probably the best I have had anywhere, composed of top quality organically fresh products. A large choice of delicious bread and bread rolls, eggs on request, generous portions of cheese, fresh fruit and the most delicious jams, especially the plum ! Fresh coffee is brought to your table, just as you like it, with a charming smile from the people who work there but take the time to hear your news even during the hectic Christmas period. The food generally in the hotel's restaurant is excellent. One evening I returned from my day out to a mug of Gluhwein which the man who served me told me was the "best in town". It certainly was, in fact it was the best I have ever tasted. The hotel only has 16 rooms so it is best to book early to get the room you require at the time you want. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

So perfect!

Dec 14th, 2019

My husband and I stayed here for three nights and had a junior suite. The location was perfect for exploring the Christmas markets and close to some goos restaurants and attractions. We had a junior suite which was great and spacious. Beautiful coffees and the first stock in the mini bar was complimentary. Ulrike at the front desk made our stay so enjoyable. She met us in check in and took us directly to our room showing us everything. Fantastic service and highly recommend staying here if you are in Salzburg. We cannot wait to return.
