Great stay!

Feb 17th, 2020

What a nice hotel! If you want to be right where the action is in downtown Headsburg -on the square and close to restaurants, shopping, and tasting rooms - this is the place to stay! We found it a bit noisy at night because of how close it was to all that but the breakfast (included in stay) was great and the room was nice! Very contemporary (though the bathroom needs a little updating) - loved the fireplace in the breakfast room/bar area. Fifteen minutes from awesome wineries in the area. My only other complaint was that our car was covered in bird poo when they brought it around. Yuck! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Like 5Th Avenue in the Country!!

Feb 12th, 2020

OMG what more can I say except: MUST STAY HERE!! The room was superb, highest quality furnishing - so much space and the BATHROOM...the BALCONT...THE QUALITY and so quiet, so pleasant. You could get lost in all that space and the tub - I took a hot soak and felt like a million bucks!! It is like NYC 5th AVE quality in the country!! We took our small dogs and it was so soothing to have him with us al the time. He even had breakfast with us in the porch room! I will be back and I highly HIGHLY recommend a stay here whenever you are in town. Also the Dry Creek Kitchen service, staff, food and atmosphere gets 5 Stars also!! GO THERE!! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great stay in Healdsburg

Jan 30th, 2020

We loved Healdsburg so much and what makes it so great is being able to stay at a wonderful hotel that is in the center of all the great restaurants, shops and tasting rooms that Healdsburg offers. The Hotel Healdsburg was just a lovely place to stay. The room was wonderful, the bed very comfy. We had no issues with noise at all. It is dark (as is most of the hotel), and the shower temperature does fluctuate as others have mentioned, but the included breakfast is great, with hot egg options offered along with the cold buffet and the staff and service are wonderful. We also really appreciated the Nespresso machine in the room, the filtered still and sparkling water, and the free snacks which we took with us to the Armstrong Redwood Reserve. We would definitely stay at the Hotel Healdsburg on our next trip. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Excellent Location in Healdsburg; Noisy Room

Jan 23rd, 2020

The Hotel Healdsburg is right where you want to be when visiting. Everything Healdsburg Center has to offer is within a 5-minute walk. The staff were very helpful and kind and the hotel room was large and well appointed. Our room on the second floor faced Healdsburg Center and it was almost impossible to get a good night's sleep due to the noise. Dumpsters being emptied; street cleaners; the hotel service door being flung open and things dragged in and out. Even with all the windows closed and a white noise machine it was a frustrating experience. Assuming you have the right room location, or you're a heavy sleeper, you can't go wrong. Excellent stay, but next time we'll bring our own lamps...

Jan 20th, 2020

We chose HH based on its in-town location as we love to walk to stores and restaurants rather than jumping in the car to go everywhere as one must at all the lovely nearby resort properties. We so enjoyed discovering Healdsburg this way - great, stylish in-town lodging. But quibbles.Maybe this is an “okay, Boomer” thing but the mood lighting was just too moody for us. Way too dark and no option to turn the lights up a bit. Otherwise a solid 4 star experience. Staff was young, friendly and competent. Everything perfectly clean. Shower temp extremely erratic so that was an adventure but the minimalist concrete and glass bathroom was very nice. The bed was stylishly low so we got to feel like we were back in college again but no lumpy mattress so all was well. Very nice happy hour experience at the lounge. Adjacent Dry Creek Inn is wonderful. We would stay here again; just have to figure out how to bring an extra lamp or two along with us. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
