Excellent Concierge support

Dave H and Diego are an excellent Concierge team. They are very attentive, knowledgeable, and supportive of requests so that I did not have to leave the hotel. They always had a smile and I knew I had their undivided attention when talking with them. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
I loved everything about my stay but DONT TAKE PHOTOS
Oct 27th, 2020
I so desperately want to leave 5 stars because I adored just about everything about my stay at Hotel Indigo, except for their photo policy. Most of the staff like Dave, Diego, the front desk help, and restaurant staff at Mamacitas was top-notch, their rooms were beautiful and they made sure during this COVID pandemic they keep their guest safe and their establishment super clean. I loved the location and how close it was to all the best places downtown & the views from the poolside of the building are stunning. Upon checking in I took out my dslr camera to take photos of their empty but beautiful lobby but then was asked to schedule a photoshoot time & pay $100 to continue taking photos. I even communicated at the moment I was stopped that this was not a photoshoot and that I was a guest just taking photos for my enjoyment yet I was still told I'd need to pay to do so. I don't believe it's a fair practice to force guests to only be allowed to take photos on one camera over another, nor to be charged for taking photos on one camera over another. It's their prerogative to charge people who conduct "commercial photoshoots" or "for-profit photoshoots" but this was not the case and it was understood that this was not the case, yet I was still asked to stop or be charged this fee. I think there should be discernment amongst all staff members & by the sales/marketing department about when and where a photo shoot is happening, and when a photoshoot is NOT happening. Even communicating at the moment that this was not a photoshoot didn't stop them from wanting to charge me for this photoshoot fee. It took waiting overnight for staff to arrive in the morning, talking to numerous staff members & a phone call to sales management to tell them I'd like to take personal photos while staying for a few days and am not conducting any photoshoots, just to be allowed to proceed with taking photos. None of this information is listed in any place on their welcome information/receipts, website, nor was it spoken to me verbally while checking in or booking online. It's funny to me that the hotel kept asking to leave a TripAdvisor review & while filling out this survey they want guests to upload their personal photos from their stay in their hotel ... but want to charge $100 to those guests who take photos on a fancy camera. Cell phones do not do this place justice. Totally worth staying at, but watch your charges carefully if you decide to take a picture worth taking out your fancy camera for. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Love this hotel

Right downtown, a great classic hotel. Very clean and comfortable. Moderate price, valet parking, restaurant and bar with rooftop pool. This is my second time here and I don't think I will book any where else. Covid has decreased some services like bar and restaurant but we will get past that soon. They also have reduced housekeeping which I am fine with. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Great service at Hotel Indigo!

Glad I picked this place. Great pool and excellent poolside service By Giselle! Drinks were great too! Dave was really great, helped us with all our needs! We asked him for a million things and not once did he make us feel like an inconvenience and was always very courteous! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Definitely a great experience. I loved the Moroccan-Latin decor as it brings a little more flavor to the El Paso downtown area. Service and the server (David) were great and attentive. The food was very good and I enjoyed the open space and wall of windows as it made for a more photographic moment. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
