Great location to restaurants and downtown shopping

Nov 21st, 2019

A nice freshly updated stay in the River District. There was no valet parking when we arrived but did figure out to park in the Palms garage for only $5. The location of parking could be difficult for the mobile impaired. The clerk was pleasant and the place was clean and felt safe. There is availability of dining and shopping within walking distance of the hotel. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Excellent staff and excellent location

Nov 12th, 2019

I agree with another writer not sure what makes this boutique or luxury, nevertheless a very good hotel. The front desk staff we excellent, friendly and helpful. We self parked for $5 a day in a garage oppoiste. We enjoyed a larger room with a couch and extra space. Housekeeping was good. There is a roof top bar which they could do more with, but the views are a delighter and George was a joy. When you walk outside you are surounded by bars and restaurants. Check out the jazz cocktail bar 5 minutes walk on a square. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great location

This property is listed as a luxury boutique hotel. I did not think it was luxurious and I don’t know what makes it boutique but it is a nice enough hotel. When we arrived, the street was closed for an event and we couldn’t find a place to park. There was a sign that said the valet was closed. We stopped on a side street to look at our gps and a valet came out and asked if we were checking in. The desk clerks were friendly and professional. The king room was average sized. The bathroom had a good sized shower stall and Aveda products. The bed was comfortable, the upholstered chair was stained and smelled musty. The air conditioning is controlled at the unit even though there was a t-stat on the wall. We would have liked a mini fridge. The towels and bedding were far from luxurious. The view from our sixth floor room was good. The pool on the roof was small, as was the rooftop bar. But both looked nice and there’s a good view from there. This is a very old 7 story building with around 12 rooms on each level. It is clean though not a luxury property. The staff was nice. The location is the best part. We never needed our car after check in. There are lots of restaurants and shops all around. There are two restaurants, a coffee house, and a gift shop on the first floor that do not appear to be associated with the hotel. The gift shop should not be missed. We had brunch at The Standard and highly recommend. I would stay here again because of the location in downtown. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Exceeded Expectations

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Indigo recently and it exceeded our expectations. Rooms were large and clean. Staff was fantastic. Everything seemed to be updated at some level. A nice place to stay in quaint downtown Fort Myers. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

VERY DISAPPOINTING

Oct 19th, 2019

We modified our reservation for the 2nd room to include a 2nd night. When our son showed up to check in to the 2nd room the front desk clerk told him that they did not have a room for him...a few hours after I had talked to the gentleman in person to add the 2nd night. This front desk clerk challenged me to fight when I called him out for not honoring what we had just agreed to. He even used the N word. Incredible. We have stayed here before and at the Gainesville Hotel Indigo. So unprofessional. I will say that the young lady acting as security did a great job of difusing the situation. She offered water bottles, but after what we had just experienced there was nothing that she could offer to make this an enjoyable experience. I just think that the front desk person was unstable. Stay elsewhere. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
