Not what we expected
Nov 14th, 2020
This was not what I was expecting when pulling up the first night and I mean that in a good way. Honestly, the inside is beautiful! The lobby was gorgeous, with the bar to the left and a fire place. The staff was accommodating and really kind. The room had a great view of the church and we loved it! Honestly the decor really help radiate good vibes. A few cons: there was about an inch to an inch and a half of dust on the top of the closet door. If you have asthma this might be a problem and in light of COVID - when they say they’re cleaning the rooms, this is a bit concerning to see. I personally carry Lysol and sprayed the surfaces and remotes, and such. My husband also went to make coffee and the sugar was already opened in the package - this might’ve been a manufacturing error but still we had to chuckle at that. Also when I went to hang up the towel on the rack, the rack fell off of the wall!!! The desk was also falling off of the wall. And our toilet kept running so my husband had to keep juggling the handle. I will say the staff did call us because a similar car had their lights on and they called us to make sure it wasn’t ours - so that was nice of them! Really enjoyed our stay here TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Great stay; amazing front desk staffers

The room was huge, clean and well-appointed. The Housekeeping guy was very friendly and the Woman at the front desk, Mya Stanley, was fantastic. She was exceptionally friendly and very accommodating. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Indigo slipping a bit
Aug 16th, 2020
I stayed 3 nights on a solo trip. I appreciate things were much different due to covid than when i stayed 2 years ago. The staff was nice and did their best. I felt that the hotel was more into cost cutting than service. Staff was very limited. No room cleaning which I can appreciate with Covid but I did have room cleaning in other hotels during my extended trip. No regular coffee pods so I walked to Target and bought my own. And the bedding in my room was worn. Just in need of better management focus. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
💜 it here!

I absolutely 💜 this place. The customer service is impeccable. I’ve stayed at a lot of upscale hotels so believe me I know the difference. Before coming here I didn’t even know it existed; I actually was just surfing the net. I’ve even extended my stay two additional days. This is definitely a hidden gem in Pittsburgh!!! Nice Boutique Hotel

Our daughter was getting married in Pittsburgh and we stayed at the hotel for two nights. Check-in with Gwen was very easy and she could not have been more helpful. Parking was actually down the street and she took us outside to show us exactly where. We had a ton of baggage -- wedding, rehearsal dinner -- and she was very helpful with that. The following day, we needed to check my daughter into her room and obtain her key early so they didn't have to do all that following the reception. Mya Stanley was extremely helpful and friendly. She arranged it all, gave breakfast directions and could not have been more delightful. She also checked us out following the wedding and was very nice. The room was large, bed was comfortable. Due to COVID, the restaurant was not open, but that was fine. Also, rooms were not routinely made up, but Mya was very helpful in getting towel service changed. Her customer service was outstanding and it is only a matter of time before she will be the manager. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
