incredible hotel, first class all the way. Great breakfast and restaurant on the top floor. Rooms are clean as can be with gorgeous balconies. Entrance isn't impressive, but thats only fault I can find. Will stay there when in Rome, always TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Loved the hotel, loved the neighborhood.

Nov 12th, 2019

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights while touring Rome and visiting family. Firts let me say I loved this hotel and would stay there again but I do want to also give some feedback. Loved : - Location - great neighborhood, walkable to the river, plaza navona (close) and a good but quick walk to other key places you want to be. It is a lovely real neighborhood of Rome with a handful of smaller boutique hotels, nice homes, a school, shops, etc. Super cozy lovely area. - Hotel rooftop - great bar and views - Cosy room, comfortable bed - Nice, extensive breakfast spread - Nice staff, good service - outlets near bed - small reading lights Could Improve: - The bathroom layout was weird and slightly annoying - the toilet in our room was set up side by side with a bidet. Minimally the bidet and toilet should be reversed. Better yet bidet eliminated to give more space. The toilet is set up in such a way that your knees are under the sink when you sit and I'm average height. The shower is cramped and like old hotels in Europe, is a big step up to get in/out with no grab bars (I'm not old or disabled in any way I found it awkward. Garbage was cramped behind the toilet and no real counter space. In a nut shell - they should tear out this existing bathroom and better use the square feet/meters in a better layout. They have the space they need to use it way better. I've seen some smaller city hotels use cubbies, drawers or hooks to make up for counterspace in a positive way - No outlet in the bathroom - had to dry my hair at the desk while squinting to see in mirror in bathroom - No place to really put items near the bed. Land line phone behind headboard was awkward. May be a little flip down shelf for phone/glasses/watch at night? TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Excellent Hotel in Fantastic Location

Nov 10th, 2019

We stayed here for 2 nights late Sept after an extended Europe trip and thought it was perfect. We like to walk and found this was the perfect location for us. Room and facilities were very clean. Room at night was quiet. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We were even surprised by a thoughtful gift from the General Manager who had learned we were celebrating a big anniversary. We won't hesitate to stay here next time in Rome. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

In a quiet area, off the tourist-frenetic area, but in the centre of it all...

Nov 10th, 2019

This is my favourite hotel in Rome. It's very modern, stylish, elegant but unpretentious, in a converted 16th century palazzo by Donato Bramante, and in a street lined with palazzos of that era. Via Giulia is just off the very busy tourist precincts, but just a few minutes walk from the main sites. The hotel's website will tell you all you need to know about it and the location, so I won't go on about that ... and it's accurate. All rooms a beautiful, spotless, and modern, and I've never heard noise from adjoining rooms nor plumbing. The courtgarden for breakfast is quiet, and so very, very perfect. The roofterrace for dinner is superb too: church bells ring, and the sun sets with St Peter's dome as a backdrop. And the staff are, without exception, wonderfully friendly and accommodating. I go here every time I'm in Rome, which is almost every year. I find that, particularly in the hot months, Rome is cooler closer to the Tiber than being around the Corso area, or up higher above the Spanish Steps. Can't wait to be back there, it's that good. I was taken back in time as I awoke in this gorgeous hotel with latched windows and my view facing a quiet little street visited sporadically by locals and their dogs. My casual stroll from the front doors out to the busy streets of Roma led me to several gift shops, merchants proudly showing their wares, and some of the best restaurants in the world! Hotel Indigo sits in a prime location, it has the best customer service representatives on the planet, and the respect and courteousness they showed me was far beyond exceptional. The room was cozy, the bed was delightfully comfortable, the Rooftop Restaurant was fabulous, and the live music was just the perfect touch for making the ambience exquisite. My only regret staying here was not taking advantage of the on-site Spa. So, of course I simply must go back. I look forward to my return visit. This is an absolute jewel of a place!
