Great Hotel - Visited At Wrong Time

Mar 15th, 2020

Just back from Rome amid the craziness of the Corona Virus and stayed at Hotel Indigo St George. The hotel location was great between 15 - 30 minute walk from all attractions and points of interest. The few staff that were there were awesome even though there was massive uncertainty about their Jobs and future. The room was great, everything we needed, amenities, robes, slippers, iron and ironing board, complimentary water, mini bar, comfy bed and pillows, TV etc. There is a great open air bar on the top floor but unfortunately this was closed 😞 as was the Spa which we were also gutted about. The breakfast was also cut down due to the situation but everything we had was very nice, cooked well and served with a smile. I would like to return when things are back to normal in Rome and would 100% stay here. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Indigo with spa facilities and modern italian taste!

Mar 6th, 2020

The hotel is conveniently located in central neighbourhood of Rome, within easy reach of Rome's historical sites and walking distance from nightlife and restaurants (Trastevere and Piazza Navona) Hotel employees are friendly and service up to the standards. My king superior room was comfortable enough, having nice taste in decòr. Usb and electricity plugs are available right next to both sides of the bed. The complementary mini bar is always appreciated from Indigo hotels. Also, the free access to the Health Club with sauna, steam room and heated pool was adding a lot to our stay. Didn't use the gym, but it was very small and packed. Although it's a 5* property, i didn't get a luxury feeling like other 5* hotels, but due to its lovely decor it didn't bother me! Expected pillow menu in the room and smart TV 🙁☹ TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Terrific location, perfect stay

Feb 2nd, 2020

This is a gem of a hotel, a great blend of old world charm and modern comfort in a terrific quiet location in the heart of Rome. Easy walking distance to St. Peter’s and Vatican City, Trastevere, Campo d’Fiori, Piazza Navona, the Spanish Steps, and all the Roman historic sites. Staff were welcoming, professional, and helpful. Breakfast was excellent as was the breakfast staff. My room was quiet, well appointed, and very comfortable. What I particularly liked was that it was a small hotel in a lovely renovated, stylish, bldg. with a sense of “place.” The rooftop terrace, small gym, and spa were pluses and the streets immediately surrounding the hotel included neighborhood-style cafes, restaurants, shops, and a great Coop supermarket. It’s a great value for Rome and for me, everything a great boutique-style hotel should be. My six nights there were perfect in every regard. Special thanks to all the staff from the front desk to the housekeepers to the breakfast staff for making it so. Highly recommended! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Perfect location and excellent amenities.

Jan 28th, 2020

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Eternal City. The hotel’s location is central to all main attractions but in a very quiet street close to Piazza Navona. Beautiful decor, excellent service, friendly professional staff. Great restaurant and above all a comfortable room. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
