central place to stay in Beijing

Jan 17th, 2020

Slept here with a family of 3 for 3 nights in November 2019. The hotel is clean and spacious, large bathroom and free drinks in the minibar. Breakfast was good as well. All major attractions are within walking distance which is a big pro. We booked through Agoda and their website stated check in at 2 pm and bike rental at the hotel. Check in was at 3 and they don't have rental bikes. All in all a place I would stay again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Nice location

Jan 9th, 2020

Hotel was located near east gate of forbidden city (donghua meng). However, to visit forbidden city, one can only enter via the south gate. Wangfujin street and tian'anmeng east mrt was within walking distance. There were also several eateries within hotel vicinity. Room was nice and clean. Check in was smooth. Staff would provide a map of nearby attraction and teach you how to go when check up. All staffs were basically very friendly and helpful. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Good Hotel

Jan 5th, 2020

Stayed for 7 nights at level 3, clean and spacious room, clean bed , complimentary 4 cans beer, 2 cans of soft drinks + 3 bottles of 1 ltr mineral water daily, toiletries , towels and hairdryer provided. Front desk was very helpful , alert and efficient. Very good location, 10 ~15mins walk to Forbidden city , 10 mins walk to Wang fu jing shopping street , 15 mins walk to train. Our bf wasnt included, had our bf at opposite eateries instead for nice local food. Highly recommended this hotel. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Good Value + near Forbidden City + eateries

Oct 20th, 2019

We stayed here for 4 nights in September. We took a taxi from the airport and paid about 400 yuan. Check in was smooth. The room we got was on 3rd floor. The room was clean and smell fresh. Basic coffee and tea facility. Soft drinks in fridge was free for consumption during our stay. The bedlinen was clean too. The toilet is a decent size but seems slippery. They do provide bath slippers which I didn’t use during my stay. The hotel could improve by fixing a shower curtain as the shower water tends to splash to the other part of the toilet. They do provide toiletries, hair dryer and towels. The housekeeping does a decent job in making up the room everyday. The front office staffs were helpful. There are a few of them who could speak English so that was helpful, especially a staff named ‘Winters’. There is a convenient store just next to the hotel. The are a lot of eateries opposite the hotel which is convenient. We didn’t try out the hotel breakfast so no comment on that. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

A nice hotel marred by timing

Oct 7th, 2019

Unfortunately we were here during the military rehearsals for the 70th anniversary celebration. This meant that, whilst this was a pleasant hotel in a good location, we didn’t enjoy being confined to it after 6pm on a Saturday night to watch the tanks roll past the hotel window. We were also unable to go to the Great Wall as we would not have arrived back before the curfew. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
