Affordable rooms (not too big, but great for young couples)! Has a swimming pool and next to the station. 13 euros for parking per day at the train station which is fine. Friendly staff! Would come here again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

We chose the Kyriad Gare firstly for its location which is close to the station but also because we wanted something better than an Ibis. We prebooked a car parking space, however on arrival we did find accessing the underground car park a little complicated, maybe the Hotel should include with their confirmation email instructions, after entering the car park you are faced with two closed doors, you have to get out of your car and use the intercom located on the wall n a corner to talk to reception who then confirm your booking and then remotely open one of the doors, After parking the car we entered the reception area, which is modern and compact. Our dissapointment started when we entered our room, which was very small, but worse was to come, the bathroom with its pink tiles and black mould in the shower cubicle was grim, but sometime or other they had attempted a update as the toilet was a concealed flush with a brown tile surround, I guess they could not get the pink tiles any more. Then the bed, it was described as a double, but was a verly small double at 4’-6”, The only reason I can think you would put a small double bed in a Hotel room is the make the room feel bigger. I would like to warn others guests that if you use the shower do not let anyone else sharing the room with you use the cold tap or flush the toilet, as you will end up being badly scolded as the shower will go very hot. After a poor nights sleep we went for breakfast, if you like Saunas and the smell of Clorine then you are going to love the walk to the breakfast area, which is accessed by a walkway through and over the indoor swimming pool. The dining area is large and tables well spaced apart, the food selection was good, scrambled eggs, sausages, a very good selection of pastries and lots of cold meats..plus various teas, coffee and juices. When we checked out we used the reception toilets which are clean and very modern, my guess is that the Hotel is being refurbished gradually and just maybe as we booked through booking.com with a Genius Discount we were put in one of the older rooms,. Would I go back, No, next time I will stick to an Ibis. Date of s TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Good location, helpful staff

Having lost my liking for the Accor group I decided to give Kyriad a try in Dijon - and I am pleased that I did. For train travellers this hotel could not have a better location, being right opposite the station. It is also right by the tram terminus, and although we occasionally heard the clang of their bells the noise level was not at all disturbing, and we got two very good nights' sleep in a comfortable bed. The room was otherwise perfectly adequate, if nothing special. We met a very helpful receptionist, who seemed determined that we should have a good experience of his city - which we did. We did not try the breakfast, as we usually find that a coffee and a croissant is all that we need - and that is easily had elsewhere. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
