Le Cep made our visit to Beaune an unforgettable one. We were greeted with the news that we were upgraded to a suite upon arrival to the hotel. Mark was a great resource the entire stay, first by showing us to our room, helping with our bags, and giving us tips on things to do/places to eat. He managed to get us a table at La Lune the first night, and it was incredible. After buying too much wine the team at the front desk offered to store the wine and ship it to Sweden when their Sommelier returned to the hotel on Monday. Look forward to another visit to Beaune and would not miss staying here again. They also offered valet service which was very convenient. Hotel seems to be dog friendly. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Good, if traditional, hotel in centre of bEaune

Stayed one night during a few days in Burgundy. Central hotel in old town with parking. (They park for you). Engaged, friendly service - although on arrival we’d asked them to check availability at the top restaurant adjoining the hotel, which they forgot to do. When we checked three hours later there was definitely no place left. That said, the person helping us at that stage, immediately suggested an alternative within walking distance, ‘L’ecrit vin’, which proved to be excellent. The breakfast was very good in the court yard of the hotel and suitably adapted to all COVID requirements. All that said, the hotel is traditional rather than stylish and the rooms and common areas feel a little tired. However, in terms of the location and welcome definitely worth considering for a stay in Beaune. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Nice hotel, but room furnishing is a bit tired and uncomfortable

We came to this hotel en route to the south of France. It’s location as midway from Calais is excellent, and the town itself has a typical French feel to it. Hotel is in the centre of the town, and so easy walking to the many restaurants and cafés as well as tourist attractions. The hotel was comfortable, but the facilities outside of the room were somewhat limited in that there was no decent outdoor sitting area. The main criticism is really relating to the furniture in the bedroom which was less than comfortable, and somewhat old and tired. Also 22 Euros for parking felt a little excessive. We chose not to stay there again on our return journey to Calais - perhaps that tells a story. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

We really enjoyed our stay because of : - the central location - the very helpful staff - respectful of covid 19 safety protocol - a lovely hidden terrace where we had breakfast - charm of an old an authentic building - rooms are nice, bathroom could be slightly improved TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

This hotel is a lovely combination of multiple old houses, with beautiful antique furnishings, amazing old art and lots of charm. The staff made us feel very welcome and took excellent care of us, whatever we needed. Breakfast outside in the courtyard was a special treat each day, as well as late night drinks also outside, where we could enjoy some of the local specialties during the lovely summer evenings. Our room was perfectly equipped and was very comfortable and quiet. We highly recommend this hotel! It was our first time here, but definitely not the last time! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
