Charm, Comfort, Professionalism

Charming decor, friendly staff, high service standards and superb food. Four day stay, sampled both restaurants and the bar, breakfast lunch and dinner. Note that you have to drive through a pedestrian zone to get to the hotel. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Not customer friendly, fotos are not matching to the room description, air conditioning could not be switched off in the room. You have to call reception to switch it off and we are talking about a five star hotel???? Massage/wellness was on offer and we booked but it was 3 km away from the hotel site. Car parking was not available although it is advertised on the website. Breakfast was a joke for a five star hotel ,the lack of variety was that of a three star hotel. Amenities we very limited in the room with one very small shower gel or shampoo for the whole bathroom. Bar service was very slow. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Beautiful and comfortable stay

The hotel's location is perfect for seeing Luxembourg city in a day or two. Beautifully at the square in the center of it all. The hotel itself is even more beautiful in the interior and design. You quickly get the feeling it is a place with soul and strong expression of what kind of hotel they want to be - and are. Class. Our room was one of the loft rooms with high ceiling and beams. A testimony of the building's history and it gives the rooms uniqueness. Love it. Our room was beautiful and right away it made us want to spend time in the room and at the hotel. For me it is important that the hotel is not just a place to sleep, but a place to stay, hang out, sleep etc. - a place that makes me sit back and feel at home. I did here. But as many other newly designed hotels, the bathroom is made of glass and only a simple see-through curtain is suppose to give "privacy". I don't get why this trend still lives on. It is annoying and unpleasant, it isn't luxury. I didn't totally get the handling of corona and all the restrictions. E.g. there is a sign in the room which says that a list of things can be given upon request at the reception. When we asked for bathrobe and slippers (was on the list) We were told it wasn't possible due to corona. Fair enough, but I'd expect a hotel at this standard (and price) having a better sense for customer experience. We were just left with questions. Why not remove the list from the rooms, if it isn't updated? Do this hotel re-use slippers? Doesn't this hotel wash used bathrobes, just like towels and sheets? What is it that makes these two things hard (dangerous) to handle due to corona? Hotels are of course free to do as they please and make the concept they like. I'm simply just trying to point out how these choices affect the customer experience... That said, would I come back and/or recommend it to others. Definitely! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
nice rooms, central location

nice rooms, central location, friendly staff and welcome, clean bathroom and room, would be nice (nowadays with covid19-rules) you don't have to ask for extra basic stuff when you're out (like toilet paper or shampoo) ;-) but otherwise, enjoyed our stay ! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
