better organization is needed

pretty good food is served at the restaurant but a cheap buffet is line up to satisfy the empty stomach. The buffet is not well organized and even the restaurant needs an update in matter of organization just to please guest service while facilitating waiters work. The London sign by the pool is a disgrace and really would take not much time and money to be presented at best. a bit of maintenance overall should be taken into consideration. The bar stock is poor and cheap but the espresso is excellent. having said all that comparing to the price is an Ok hotel. friendly staff to cover a vintage hotel. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Despite the age of the hotel, was an amazing time there. Everything is working, rooms are clean and comfortable. The stuff of the hotel - 10 out of 10, they are always polite, gentle and helpful, ready to solve any of your issues. Rooms cleaned every day. Restaurant is quite good. Didn't like the breakfast much because of a poor variety, but overall was tasty and fresh. Themed dinners were good. A little bit slow wi-fi. Clean area, clean swimming pool. Nothing really to complain about. The most amazing is the stuff, thanks a lot. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
OK hotel compare to the price.

OK hotel compare to the price. The beach and the staff makes the stay good. Not the hotel facilities inside. More a 2 star than 3. Positive: - Friendly staff - Reasonable price - Great beach - Good arrangements whit sunbed. Follows the room. - OK breakfast ( did not try to eat dinner at the hotel) - Good parking. No costs. - Housekeeping is great. Negative: - Unstable aircondition in the hotellroom with allot of noise. Hard to sleep. - Old hotel. Should need a makeover. - Fridge in the room was almost not working. - The bed is to short for a guy like me. 187 cm. No bed from the legs and down. :( - Carpets on the floors. Maby it's only me... I find carpets to be very dirty at all hotels. - Not very safe routines when it comes to handling roomkeys. Gest and others can pick up keys without questions. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
A Great 3* Hotel in Prime Location
Aug 1st, 2017
I didn't read any reviews before I booked, and I'm glad I didn't as it may have put me off staying. However, this is a 3 star hotel located on the beach! As well as that, it has a swimming pool directly between the hotel and the beach (what's not to like?). You are allocated sunbeds and umbrella on the beach free of charge (this is not always the case in Italy). There were always, and I mean always, sunbeds available around the pool if that's your preference; in fact the hotel has a no reserving sunbeds policy. The rooms were clean and tidy, although as some have written, slightly dated. We paid a small premium to have full sea view, which I would recommend. The partial sea view rooms on the side of the hotel are quite ample, as we put our son and girlfriend in one with no complaints. The showers are ferocious which is always a bonus. The staff were very friendly and helpful, with a special mention for Davide the barman, as he always made time for us and was very welcoming (his able assistant Karen was also happy and friendly). The breakfast was a good standard of continental breakfast, with the daily bonus of bacon and scrambled eggs if you wanted them. The one evening meal we had in the hotel was very good, certainly worth the 15 Euros charged to upgrade to half board. As already mentioned, the location is superb and additionally if you drive, there is a car park with sufficient spaces, most of which are under trees in the shade. The hotel is a very short walk to the main pedestrian walkway with the restaraunts, bars, shops and gelateria. This is not an expensive hotel with great facilities, so I would highly recommend it for families or couples. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Average...but value for money

Nice stay at this hotel. Very kind staff, the room was clean, the hotel is in front of the beach, quite too far from city center for walking in both ways. The brekfast was ok, eggs, ham, cornflakes, salami, cheese, salad&tomatoes, coffe, croissant, muffins... My only bad note is that there is no wi fi into the rooms at the upper floors...you got to stay at the common rooms to use it. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
