Walking tour

Feb 22nd, 2020

Free walking tour offered on a Saturday morning by the hotel. Met with tour leader a very good lady whose name I missed unfortunately however she was very good and very interesting. Spoke in English and German fluently, One highlight was the Jesuit church adjacent to what was the University, without doubt one of the most beautiful and spectacular churches ever. If staying on a Saturday take advantage TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Optimal location, nice staff, free walking tour of Old Vienna

Feb 17th, 2020

A wonderful hotel in the centre of Innere Stadt, a stone's throw from St. Stephen's Cathedral and with optimal public transportation access from both St. Stephen's Square and Schwedenplatz. Room was simple yet tastefuly and elegantly decorated with tea and coffee making facilities (both kettle and Nespresso machine). Breakfast offered something satisfying for everyone and the breakfast area was quite pleasant. I guess hotel's biggest asset is its staff: exceptionally friendly, always smiling, service oriented and kind, especially the lady at the breakfast area was so obliging. Every Saturday morning there is a FREE bilingual walking tour of Vienna with a local guide (thank you Regina!), that gives fascinating insights into Old Vienna's not-so-touristy attractions, such as the Jewish and Greek neighbourhoods, the Jesuit and St. Ruprecht Churches, Heiligenkreuzerhof residential area etc. Highly recommended TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Birthday city break

Feb 12th, 2020

Staff really helpful. We booked a hotel for today as it’s my birthday and came for a city break ... we had a terrible experience with the previous hotel and we came here and thanks to the receptionist (I can’t remember her name) who tried her best to make our stay Thank you so much ! Great location, but very small rooms

Feb 6th, 2020

We arrived with the new year, to this hotel, with a great great location. It is located right in the heart of Vienna, only minutes from all restaurants, shops, monuments and St Stephens Cathedral. The reception staff were very friendly and very helpful. As one of the days we needed advice, and later we needed to call in room doctor, for illness. They helped us with everything. The rooms were very clean, and looked nice. Some of us got privileged rooms, with bathrobes slippers and nespresso machine. But overall the rooms were so tiny, that the end of the bed to the wall was not more than 40-50cm apart. Every time i had to walk around the other side of the bed, i had to walk sideways. Overall the hotel, considering the period and location, was very nicely priced, and the location once more was exceptional. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Worth the price

Dec 21st, 2019

Good location re inner city, small but comfortable. Dining room crowded during morning, food OK, service good. Clean and pleasant, although renovation works were felt around, nevertheless it's worth the price. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
