Dated, older hotel that is in need of updates and modernizing

I was very disappointed in my stay at this hotel. The front desk staff was great and the room seemed to be cleaned thoroughly. However, the room smelled of bleach and it felt very musty. The elevator was really disgusting. The flooring of the elevator was pulling up and it was just dirty. The parking lot was very sketchy as well. Lots of people hanging out in the parking lot and there is not enough lighting or pathways to the hotel, especially if you park in the back. There is no side door access to the hotel and you have to go in through the front door. The rooms definitely need to be updated with furniture and linens. The sheets seemed to be clean, but this property was nowhere near the level of other Four Points properties. I would not stay here again. :( TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Buggy bug world

So let’s start with the pics I took, just a few things that you would think the Sheridan would be better at maintaining. The unsettling smell by the sink is also to be noted. The mosquitoes were the worst part of it all. Overall, I thought the Sheridan would upkeep much better than what I saw, especially during a pandemic! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Don't Stay Here

I recently stayed here for work and picked this place myself because it was the ;east expensive in the area and I was trying to save my boss some money. Not worth it. A dump! Garbage was never picked up around the property; security gates were unlocked at all times; elevators didn't work; bugs n the room; vacant rooms all over that were unmade and the shades were up to see; large groups of people taking over the pool area for what seemed to be a day at the pool. Don't do it! I wasn't going to leave this last point but the survey asks if anyone at the hotel speaks Spanish . What I would say is all the guests definitely spoke Spainish. Not a native English speaking person in site as far as guest go. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Worst Experience

I have stayed in hotels all over the world and my experience at the Four Points Sheraton in Anaheim is easily the worst experience of my life.Checked in on a Friday and the lady at the front desk was actually very nice and pleasant. I also advised her that I will be extending my stay for an extra night and she said to simply come over to the front desk the next morning to get new keys. So next morning after extending my stay, I went out briefly, came back around 11:30am and the housekeeping had gone into my room and literally junked all my stuff.I was beyond shocked! I had lots of items in the room. Food and drinks in the fridge and she dumped everything into the same bag. She even opened the safe where I had very important and sensitive documents and dumped them as well. So now we have tootbrush, toothpaste, shower gel, all mixed with cold food and drinks dripping all over my clothes and important documents and literally left on the floor at the front desk. This disregard for personal property was totally beyond anything I’ve ever experienced.I just wanted to leave and find another hotel but the guy at the front desk was very apologetic and the room was already paid for so I reluctantly decided to stay. Whoever was in charge of servicing the rooms that day should be seriously reprimanded or retrained that she has no right to treat people’s personal property like trash. As for me, never going to stay here again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Needs remodeling

I book a room on instead of the Marriott App due to the price was $20 cheaper for May 28th. I booked a 2 queen Poolside room but was given a handicap 1 king accessible room. The room was really outdated. The bed was missing sheets, toilet was clogged upon entering the room and was told by front desk the manger cannot come out to speak. The front desk literally handed me a plunger saying u can unclog the toilet. I asked for a room change and employees refused. I love Marriott but this has to be the worse 4 Points Marriott owns. I do not recommend staying here. Plus the light switch is falling down off the wall. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
