Great bed, very clean, great service but WAY TOO WARM

We spent 3 nights at this hotel and were very pleased. Large room with a great view. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, everything was clean, service was superb, even the doorman remembered our names for the valet parking! Concierge. Giovanni was excellent. Our only complaint is that the room was too warm. Apparently, the heat and A/C is centrally controlled so the a/c was turned off for the winter. So, the thermostat on the wall was useless. We were unable to lower the temp. Hotel did provide us with a fan which helped but we'd rather the temp was a bit cooler. (glad for the little window that opened!) FYI, housekeeping did not replace the coffee, creamers or toiletries on the second day. Disappointing and a little frustrating! All in all, we loved it and hope to return. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great hotel! The staff were super friendly, it felt like a second home. The bedroom was lovely, cosy and clean, and the bed was super comfortable. The location was great: 5 minutes walk from Peel metro, the concierge was always on the ball to get you a taxi or answer any questions regarding the area. It was business yet it felt a bit like a holiday thanks to all the great people in the hotel. The food at the restaurant was great too, especially the special Quebec menu ( the soup was delicious!!). When your relaxing 3-night stay turns into a nightmare!

My sister and I rented the Presidential suite on the 30th floor for a weekend where we wanted to splurge, relax, sleep, eat great food and drink fine wine. This was not our first stay at this fine hotel so we had expectations. Friday night, everything was great. Saturday, someone tried to force his way in the living room of our suite. We panicked a little bit but tried not to dramatize and thought that maybe it was the restaurant delivering at the wrong door. 10 seconds later, the fire alarm starts screaming. We then started to panic because we thought that the person who tried to force his way in our room was now trying to get us out. To make a long story short, the police, the firemen and the hotel management ended up in our room for a description of the man. They finally caught him and he admitted everything. Needless to say, our relaxing 3 night weekend turned into a nightmare and we decided to leave on the Sunday instead of Monday. When we came to pay, the management told us that we were lucky that they were not charging us Sunday night. Of course, they were not responsible for the crazy man. But any high class hotel would have gone out of its way to make us come back, for free, and finally live out the relaxing weekend we were there for. We were soooo disappointed. The Omni Mont-Royal is definitely crossed off of our list of great places to relax. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Booked the Omni for 2 nights for a business trip. Check in was easy and when I go up to the room it was a decent size; not much of a view, a view of the next building but a view wasn't needed. The shower was the big negative, first you need to spin the handle to get hot water and the pressure was horrible. There were 2 doormen during my stay and one gentleman was truly a delight. He had the most amazing smile and would hold the door open or spin the revolving doors for you; I wish i had asked his name. He also hailed down taxis super quick. The hotel needs a decent lounge area; the bar area was so full on the last night; I wanted to relax with a seat and a drink and I couldn't. This alone would make me choose another hotel and I will on my next trip to Montreal. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

My husband and our 6 month old baby and I stayed here last weekend. They had a baby crib and a mini fridge already waiting for us in the room when we got there. The check in was flawless, valet service was great and check out was extremely quick and convenient. We ordered food via a third party food service to our room but didn’t get plates or cutlery. We called down to guest services and they had it delivered to us within 5 minutes. Will definitely be back and will be checking out other Omnis in other cities. Highly recommend! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
