Very nice hotel in the center of historic Naples

Mar 9th, 2020

The hotel is located in the heart of historic Naples. Many tourist attractions are in walking distance including many restaurants. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Our very nice room (we got an upgrade...) was absolutely clean and very well maintained. The breakfast was great, too. Only a bit more of variety would have been even better... If you want to stay in historic Naples, this is definitely a place you should consider! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

great location & room but all the rest requires an upgrade

Mar 1st, 2020

this boutique hotel is located in the heart of the historic center pros: easy walking to all main attractions and restaurants of the center rooms are spacious comfort and well cleaned and kept Barbara (from the staff) is amazing!!!! cons: sound proof in room isnt great breakfast is very basic wifi signal is very weak and this old building has thick walls so phone reception is also very weak keep in mind the historic center isnt covered well by metro so nearest station is more than 10min walk also note that car cannot be used in the historic center and must be parked in the parking (30 euros per day) TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Excellent hotel for Naples, Pompei and Herculaneum

Feb 16th, 2020

I loved this hotel and staying here helped make our 4-day stay in Naples fantastic. The location is great and you can easily walk to any of the downtown sites as well as the main train station. We ended up walking everywhere instead of using taxis - it is faster due to the traffic and you see more. This hotel is newly and beautifully furnished, spacious, quiet and the staff is very friendly, helpful and speak English. A wonderful breakfast is included each morning that includes coffee, juice, bread, eggs, bacon, cold cuts, mozzarella (regular and smoked), fresh tomatoes, pastries, many Kellogg’s cereals, prunes (helpful if you are not used to eating so much cheese, pizza and pasta), berries, apples, bananas, kiwi and several types of yoghurt. Going to the hotel bar at 6 each evening (closed on Tues) is nice - the wine is very good and reasonably priced and the bartender makes delicious snacks. We will stay here again! A fine place to stay

I really loved Palazzo Decumani. The staff (especially Barbara and Rosella, but everyone, really) was always warm and helpful, the room was large, comfortable, and hyper-clean, with very attentive room staff. Breakfasts were excellent, copious and varied. The location was excellent, right in the heart of the Centro Storico. I was truly sad to leave. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

A tranquil oasis in a busy, bustling, historic city

Jan 28th, 2020

A nice hotel like this is essential for a city break in Naples. The hotel is lovely; peaceful and stylish. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful, and there's a great breakfast buffet to set you up for the day. Naples is an interesting destination, with so much history, so many museums and churches, and Vesuvius and Pompei near by, so it's good for a city break. However the city is also quite dirty, so a nice hotel like this one is essential. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
