Great location

Jan 23rd, 2020

Small and simple room with tiny bathroom, cozy though. Very clean and quiet (even with the room facing the street). Hot shower, very good breakfast (fruit, eggs, bacon, bread...). You are a few steps from nice italian restaurants at night. And a fee minutes walking from the centre. I loved it! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great for Walkers

Jan 9th, 2020

Great for Walkers in Florence. Decent accommodation. I liked the room that we had. It was nice and clean. We enjoyed ourselves. We had a view from the street. The only inconvenient we had was that on the first night, the housekeeper did not change our towels but they were replaced right away after we asked. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

A wonderful 2 day weekend in Florence

Jan 5th, 2020

I booked the hotel via Tripmasters which packages the hotels etc. for you. I liked the proximity to the train station especially because it was a brief visit, just a few turns and a few minutes and you're there! Cannot beat that convenience! Though I'd been to Florence before, this was the longest I'd stayed. I got terrific recommendations from Francesca at the front desk. She and I really hit it off and had great chats about food, politics, La Befana and more. I'm not someone who needs a huge room as I like to be out and about in the city and just need a place to crash so a twin bed as a solo traveler was fine though the tiny shower was an eye-opener! We're spoiled in America, I know. I was told how to turn off the heat since I'm someone who likes the cold. And the breakfast that was included had a good assortment as far as I was concerned. I was on the third floor so the noise others complain about wasn't something I encountered. Saturday night there was a bit of bar noise from up the street but it didn't keep me up, just typical for a game night at a pub I thought. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Moldy

Oct 8th, 2019

The location was great. When we walked in the room it smelly kinda flowery. Turns out they were covering up smells. My room had no mold but others in our tour did. The staff were nice to me but their were two big tour groups and they didn't have enough dishes to go around. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Advertised as a 4 star hotel but absolutely not

Sep 6th, 2019

This hotel is definitely not a 4 star hotel. AC wasn’t working properly in 97 degree weather. Room felt like a sauna. Asked management if we can switch rooms and they flat out lied telling us there aren’t any open. Upon calling our travel agent who contacted them, they moved us to another room where the AC was STILL NOT working. Other problems included a TV that wouldn’t turn on, leaking towel racks, and no open outlet plugs.... oh and if you get a room with a queen bed, expect 2 twin size beds pushed together. I swear the crease in between gave me some back problems. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
