My husband, me, and our 7 year old just got home from this hotel. We loved our stay! The room was perfect for a family with a nice pullout couch bed for our son. The sheets were nice and ironed. I loved the rustic, mountain vibe of the room. We had a fireplace and a very large bathroom. I didn't even realize it, but our room had it's own washer/dryer and a kitchenette. The hotel was so convenient to everything. We rented a car and drove to the slopes in 4 minutes. Since we have many Marriott points, we enjoyed a wonderful free breakfast every morning and the food was delicious. We also had lunch at both Ruth's Chris in the hotel and Bandera's. Both had great food. We enjoyed the spa too. My husband and I both got massages. I thought they were good, but a little overpriced. Our room was a little warm at night and so it was a little tough to sleep, but we ended up opening the door outside to our room to get cool air. This was really our only complaint! We stayed in the main hotel and that was so convenient vs. the cottages. It felt kind of like we were staying in a house where we just walked downstairs for breakfast. I would definitely stay there again. So convenient, quiet, and not overcrowded! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
When your here, you’re family-literally

Just back from Park City and a stay at the Hotel Park City. The hotel is positioned perfectly in Park City allowing you to ski at Park City or Deer Valley. The hotel provides daily shuttles to both mountains which are just 2-5 minutes from its door steps. I have stayed here many times and I challenge you to find a better hotel and value in Park City not to mention the unique mountain architecture that makes this Marriott property shine. I contacted Danielle at the reservation department to see if their was any last minute availability as I tend to chase the incoming storms. After some back and forth her colleague Larry found a room for me and even got me an early check in. Flying in from Boston you can land at 10:30 am, and be skiing by noon. The hotel room was just perfect looking out over the Park City / Canyons resort and its signature red lit Christmas tree. The room was complete with fireplace, washer and dryer , ( which allows me to bring less clothes and keeps everything dry and fresh) , kitchenette and huge deck for morning coffee. Breakfast in the hotel is a great way to start the day and the Ruths Chris inside the lobby can not be beat. The bar is quaint and people were fun and friendly. I tend to ski all over and its just a 20 min drive from the hotel to Alta, Snowbird, Brighton and Solitude. The hotel lobby has free coffee , hot chocolate and treats for the kids with a massive roaring fireplace. The giant hot tub and heated pool is a welcomed sight after a long day on the mountain. The fact is while I am a Marriott Bonvoy Platinum member I usually am treated pretty well but at this hotel I am treated like family and the people are what makes a property great and these people, especially Danielle know what hospitality means and provide a tremendous value for a family friendly atmosphere all the time. Until next time. See you on the slopes! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Wonderful lodge and great staff!

My wife and I enjoyed 4 nights here in early January, right after the holidays ended. We were upgraded to unit that had a private hot tub on the balcony, which we took advantage of every night after skiing. The room also had a very small kitchenette and washer/dryer, but we didn’t need either. Skiers’ breakfast buffet was included and was outstanding, but pricey at $30/person if not included with the room. Our room was perfectly sized for our needs (2 people), with a fireplace in bedroom, living area and on the balcony. Complimentary robes were in the closet, making sitting by the outdoor fireplace after time in the hot tub surprisingly comfortable. The living area and kitchenette are combined and, while small, we had plenty of space. Bathroom is large, including a large jetted tub and walk-in shower with 3 shower heads. We used the hotel shuttle to get back and forth to PCMR every day - less than a 10 minute ride. We would catch a bus no later than 9 am and usually return on the 4 pm bus. I believe it ran to the mountain every 30 minutes until sometime in the late morning and pickups from the mountain officially every 30 minutes starting at 3, but the driver said he usually arrived at 2:30 just in case anyone wanted an early ride back. Deer Valley bus was on a similar schedule. The bus also went into town every 30 minutes, which made dining easy. No rental car needed and drivers were very friendly! Uber/Lyft trips from the airport were quick, convenient and less than $60 each way, before tip. Ski rentals are conveniently located on site, along with overnight storage. Ski valet would load and unload skis from the bus and also returned skis to the rental shop at the end of our stay. Next best thing to ski-in/out! We dined at Ruth Chris once and it was fantastic! We went a little after 6 and they had a special if dining by 6:30 - salad, filet, 2 sides (I think) and dessert, all for around $50/person. We had a great waitress and it ended up being one of our favorite meals! Our “other” favorite was the Silver Star Cafe, which is a 10 minute walk from the hotel. All service was outstanding! We were greeted warmly by the front desk staff, ski rentals were easy and high quality, drivers were friendly, ski valet was always prompt, breakfast and dinner service were great and cleaning staff kept our room spotless and well stocked with complimentary water bottles. The only thing preventing a 5 star rating was the location when considering price. Location isn’t bad at all, but it’s priced at ski-in/out level. If there was an on demand transportation option, that would have done it, too. The hotel has at least 1 large SUV, but it is only used to transport guests around the property, which seems like overkill, as the property is not that large. It’s a beautiful place and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

This is not a hotel. This is a motel without security, no manager overnight, which is promoting alcohol and drug parties with loud music going on all night. We stayed in one of the chalets, which has 4 units and screaming and partying were going on until 3:30AM, shortly after rap music with speaker brought from the outside started and windows were shaking in the entire building and this was going on until 7:30AM. Multiple calls to the front desk and personal appearance at the front desk didn’t bring any results because there is no manager at night or anyone who cares. One of the 6 drunk individuals who was standing in front of my door and screaming at 3:30AM almost fall inside my room when I opened the door to ask them to stop. The “manager” Mr. Rainer who showed up after 8AM has zero managerial skills and had zero solution to this since the drunk party crew decided to put a privacy note on their door at 8AM and he said he couldn’t knock on their door when privacy note was there. So, it’s ok for some people to cause insane disturbance all night and then sleep all day without being bothered. In any normal hotel these drunks would be removed from the hotel at night by the security. The only solution to this nightmare the dysfunctional manager had, was to put my family with little kids who didn’t sleep all night to a little room in the main building. Also, as a platinum member of Bonvoy (the owner of the hotel) I received zero support as well. This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in my life. Just awful. Stay away! This is not a family friendly hotel. It’s also very inconvenient and not walkable anywhere. You must take a shuttle if you like to ski. The shuttles go every 30 min or 1 hour and they stop at 5:30PM until the next day. The lifts are open until 4PM, so if you decide to ski all day you can’t stay for a quick dinner because you will miss the last shuttle. The hotel doesn’t offer any additional transport (even if you pay), Uber or personal car are you only options. So you are pretty much stuck eating overpriced Ruth’s Chris for breakfast & dinner. And also, the quality of food at this so called Ruth’s Chris is nowhere close to the actual chain in big cities and my daughter is sick second day and she we ate only there. I would never in my life stay in this hotel! Absolute failure on every level. Horrible low class motel. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Luxury Meets Comfortable Cabin
Jan 12th, 2020
Hotel Park City manages to mix luxury with a comforting cabin vibe, without being too over-the-top. The room was huge, with sitting area (with a fireplace!) and kitchen, balcony overlooking the pool and ski slopes, a gigantic bathroom with a jetted tub and spacious walk-in shower, and even a washer and dryer. We took the free shuttle to Main Street, which was way better than worrying about parking. It was a beautiful hotel and I highly recommend others to experience it. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
